Illume Fertility's Online Review Report Card

I was a patient at this fertility clinic in Danbury, CT. prior to them changing their name to “Ilume Fertility”. Unfortunately I had high hopes but was let down after being with them for almost a year. The clinical plan of care is absolutely not individualized whatsoever. I felt as though I was not included in my care because they had everything already mapped out for me. When I asked them not to raise my medication doses aggressively high, they didn’t listen and my procedure got canceled because of ovarian overstimulation. There is no patient portal for labs so that the patients can review bloodwork results. Not being able to compare my bloodwork results from one month to the next was very stressful for me. I had to email the extremely busy nurses every single time I had bloodwork drawn. I always felt judged by the way I dressed and wore my hair. The staff need education on how to make patients feel comfortable and welcomed instead of eyeing them from head to toe. The front desk spoke negatively about patients in front of other patients in the waiting room. The clinic is excellent with the financial portion of things (of course) and have breakdown costs calculated immediately. They also are very good at branding and posting on social media…. Making people THINK that they are the best….but have NOT figured out the simplest things that matter to patients. I do not Suggest this clinic for patients who ask questions and want to be involved in their own care.

Everyone in the office makes you feel at ease. The doctors, nurses and phlebotomists are wonderful and show that they care about you as a patient. I would definitely recommend RMA CT to anyone!

RMA of Connecticut was recommended to me by two different friends and boy am I glad I listened. My experience with this practice was pretty amazing. We had originally started at another fertility clinic and weren't happy. Our transition to RMA was smooth and uncomplicated. I was put under the care of Dr. Murdock who was very kind and understanding. I was also treated by 3 of the other doctors as well throughout my procedures and all were just as great. The nursing staff was amazing and always available when a question came up. I would highly recommend going to RMA for your reproductive needs. You will be in great hands!

The worst place ever. They ruined my life. I almost died when I left their office. I was bleeding profusely and they sent me home. They didn't tell me to call 911 or anything. I had to call my mother when I got home and she came over and made sure I was ok. I lost a lot of blood and almost fainted. Horrible horrible horrible.

All of the buildings are welcoming, inclusive, comfortable and clean. The staff and associates explain every process and answer any questions you have throughout the process. When I communicate by email, I always get a timely response. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable with your decisions and to know that you are important.

Have been working with Dr. Hurwitz for 2 years and the staff at RMA-CT primarily at the Danbury office. Have been there multiple times for early morning blood draws and several ultrasounds. The staff is always courteous, polite, positive, cheerful and the overall environment really put me, my husband and my parents who would sometimes accompany me at ease. The blood draws never even hurt!

I have had an amazing experience with every staff member I was able to meet during my journey with RMA. I was at a different infertility office prior to this one, and they don’t even compare. Everyone is always so welcoming and happy to see me, everyone is very quick to respond to emails or calls. I could go on and on and on but I am very pleased with how I was treated and of the outcome! I couldn’t be more thankful for finding this office and Dr. Hurwitz!!

All of the doctors, nurses and office personnel at RMA were so very kind and helpful during our journey. They were positive, encouraging and knowledgeable during every step of the process. We were blessed with our baby girl shortly after beginning treatments.
