Dr. Insel is a really wonderful doctor. I was very impressed with him when I had some very painful hand issues about a year and a half ago. Dr. Insel took great care of me - first with steroid injections and then with surgery after some new problems. He was very reassuring about the surgery he recommended for me. I was a bit apprehensive about his recommendation for joint fusion of my thumb on my dominant hand. I was concerned about having this joint fused, but he assured me that he felt it would allow me to have the best long-term outcome. I did have a very good outcome and the surgery did, in fact, solve the chronic pain issues I was struggling with. Dr. Insel made me feel very comfortable at the surgical center before my surgery. He also took great care managing my post-surgery pain issues. He was very kind, patient, and empathetic. I really appreciated that he was very easy to talk to during my course of treatment. I have had a great outcome and hardly notice that my thumb was fused. I never even think about it. I am no longer in any pain at all and you can hardly even see the incision. My husband has also been treated by Dr. Insel for hand problems with good success. We both highly recommend Dr. Insel without any reservation.

Dr Incel and his staff helped me from beginning to end. Always kind, friendly, and willing to answer any questions I had, Dr Incel made me feel extremely reassured and came up with a great healing plan. I will be forever grateful for Dr Incel and his team, as they saved my arm and made it easy and fast!

Dr Bare is one of the best doctors in Illinois. I had a few surgeries with him and I highly recommend him.

One of the BEST experiences I have had! From meeting Dr Insel throughout the whole process of my surgery to discharge absolutely A++++. The entire staff at his office and the outpatient surgery center were phenomenal, I cannot say enough kind and positive words. Thank you!

Dr. Bare has done three surgeries on me. I honestly think of him as the god of orthopedic doctors. He is reliably patient and effective. He fixed my shoulder after my first surgery failed. I trust him completely.

Dr Bare is the best! He conducted hand surgery over a decade ago and now I have full use of both hands. Since then I have seen him twice for other situations and he has been very professional, personable and knowledgeable. I will be his patient concerning any conditions that he treats for life!!
