Sent me out of the office after my colonoscopy after 20 minutes. I could barely walk I was still so sleepy. Pushed out of the office.

What can I say except Dr. Tighe is amazing! I had been going to another gastroenterologist who did not know what else to do with me so he sent me to Dr. Tighe. Boy am I glad he did. Dr. Tighe has been able to narrow down my medical conditions (gastroparesis) and keep my symptoms down to a minimum. She has been great in sharing her own personal experiences with gluten free foods with me. She has been able to keep me comfortable. The only complaint is it is very hard to get in to see her she is so busy. I highly recommend her.

I love Dr. Tighe as a person, she is very sweet and nice and she has been great as a GI doctor and trying to still get to the root of my GI issues which we still havent, but I recently developed another issue along with it (my sugar level now keeps dropping for no reason and cant keep it even normal) and I was told first to go to ER, but then that it is out of her expertise and I need to see my PCP or endocrine. I'm a nurse and I've been diagnosing myself just to get this far! I'm thinking this HAS to do with something in my GI tract with all the malabsorption issues etc I have. PCP passed me to her months ago and endocrine you can't get into around here for months. Not the best way to treat patients.

Dr Tighe is the best doctor!! She first took care of my mother when she had colon cancer. She is so,sweet, kind, and gentle and takes the time to talk with you. I went to Dr Tighe too, she's the Best!! I wish that she was back in the New Haven area.

I would definitely, without question, recommend Dr. Tighe to anyone. She answers any questions you may have thoroughly and in laymans (sp?) terms. She is patient, friendly and approachable regarding any fears or concerns you may have about any procedures to be done.

I have been to many doctors with my health issues. Dr. Tighe did not make me feel rushed or like a dollar sign. She actually spent the time needed. I wish all doctors had her kindness,and concern for her patients.
