MIechelle Obrien's Online Review Report Card

Had 2 procedures with Dr. O'Brien. Felt extremely comfortable, well informed and well cared for. She took time to explain procedures and process, and reiterated information at the end. Having Dr. O'Brien do my procedures makes the not so much fun preparation worth it. Her staff was very caring, professional and thorough when I was in the office. The Endoscopy staff at Danbury Hospital gets 5⭐also. Could not ask for better care. Thank you to Donna P, Cheryl and Renee, and Brian😘😘😘😘 Shout out to all the other amazing and respected Healthcare workers!!! Thank you all for what you do.

Staff very rude and not helpful...if I was not in pain and was not referred by my primary dr I would not need to come see the Dr asap and you think I'm gonna stay 3 full week in this pain ? Are u serious? I think us as patient need to be taking our medical problems more serious...just because ur not the one in pain does not mean u should ignore the ones that are!

Dr. O'Brien is a wonderful doctor. She's very intelligent but down to earth and easy to talk to. She not only has extensive knowledge of GI diseases but also is very knowledgeable of nutrition and dietary management of diseases. After being sick for months and going to the ER twice she was the one to figure out my diagnosis. She ran a battery of tests until she found out what was wrong with me. My illness isn't curable but it's treatable with medications and diet. I'm so glad I've done as well as I have under her care. I think she's the best! She's the one doctor I don't stress over seeing because she's so kind and focused on getting you well again.

I was very anxious about my first colonoscopy. The prep, as everyone knows, was awful. So, in addition, I had to wait 2 hours after my appointed time to have the procedure done. I waited for an hour in the prep room, then went in and felt terribly rushed, treated unkindly, unsympathetic and not reassured by this Dr. The team was unprofessional - the man who did the anesthesia had garlic on his hands ( after not eating anything for 36 hours wasn't pleasant), another nurse leaned on my IV and almost pulled it out- they obviously had a long day and just wanted to go home. You've been given many good reviews and at the end of the day you were doing your job. I cannot give you more than a 1 star rating.

She is rude and very opinionated on topics she doesnt know or understand. Shes quick to tell people how smart she is without ever listening to the patient. Worst doctor I have ever met.

Dr. Obrien is a breath of sunshine. She is so tender and attentive and truly listens to her patients. When she walks into the room she brings hope and you just feel better seeing that smiling face and knowing there is a brilliant mind behind it!!!

I just had my appointment with Dr O’brien. What a pleasant experience. Dr O’Brien is very easy to talk to, down to earth and explains everything thoroughly. I highly recommend her
