Run, don’t walk away from this practice! We have had a horrible experience with Danbury Eye! This group used to be a lovely practice that cared about their patients and successful outcomes. Now they have replaced quality service with getting a greater quantity of bodies in the door. They are all about the money! It is so sad. It is very difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner and when you do get into the office you are rushed and given a subpar refraction exam. My daughter was over corrected and given a prescription that made her have terrible headaches and motion sickness. It took forever to get back into the office to have the script changed. And then we were treated as if we were bothering them to have the script changed. It was terrible to make a child feel that way. I’m done! My entire family is leaving the practice.

Dr. Ruggiero is an excellent Doctor. He has a great bedside manner and many years of experience. I trust him with my family and recommend my friends to see him as well.

So, had an appointment with Dr. Falkenstein for concerns about a cataract. Have scheduled two other times only to have the office cancel. Apparently they had called to cancel this appointment as well. Upon arrival they gave me an appointment in July. I began this in November of 2021. This is unacceptable. This practice should shamed by their inept scheduling procedures.

I just met Dr. Ruggerio today when my dermatologist recommended him to remove a subatios cyst near my eye. As luck would have it, they just had a cancellation and could see me in a few minutes. The office staff and nurses were very friendly and thorough with their history and pre exam. Then I met Dr. Ruggerio who impressed me even more with his explanation and professionalism. He took care of the cyst easily and with minimal discomfort. He has very delicate and well coordinated hands! perfect.
