I called 3 days ago and saw the Dr. today, it was quick and easy to get an appointment. When in the office it was throughly explained what my options were and we will go from there.

I had a sebaceous cyst, which ultimately drained on its own. Dr. Islam suggested a follow-up exam just to re-check the remaining sack, and recommended removing it to ensure it doesn’t come back, and to send it out for a biopsy. It was a simple inpatient procedure (quick, easy and absolutely painless). I would highly recommend Dr. Islam and his staff for their professionalism and their prompt, courteous service.

He may be a good surgeon but he was leaving for vacation when I saw him and didn't seem to want to wait until my hand was totally numb to begin the surgery. He was visibly impatient. It was very painful the morning after and he just said to take acetaminophen when I called him. I actually thought the whole thing was infected because it hurt so much and looked even worse. I think had he been nicer, I would not have been so freaked out about it. I just had another hand surgery from another surgeon and it was like night and day. Great follow up instructions and almost no pain with this Norwalk surgeon from Coastal Orthopedics!

Doctor Islam exceeded my exceptions in every aspect. I had septo-rhinoplasty 1 month ago and I am beyond happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Islam and I would not have trusted anyone else with this! My recovery was painless and easy. Highly recommend!!

This doctor was rushed and didn’t explain anything. Dismissed my concerns about healing. The final straw was a stitch being left in my leg on accident. Arrogant, careless, and unconcerned with patients.

Worst decision we ever made. Fiancé had a condition similar to carpal tunnel and he suggested to remove a bone and insert some hardware to prop her thumb out. 7 months later her hand has looked worse and she can’t work or do anything as simple as putting on clothes. This has devastated us financially has made day to day life difficult and a 1 star or this review doesn’t do this justice. I’m frustrated and angry at how this was handled. This plastic surgeon should be looked into.

I had a septoplasty six weeks ago. I now breathe better than I have in years. Additionally, my nose is far straighter than it was before the surgery. I am very satisfied with Dr. Islam’s work. The office staff were wonderful. Sheena, the surgical coordinator, was able to schedule my surgery on the date that I needed. Ann Marie, a clinical staff member, was an absolute delight. I found her to be so friendly and personable. Danielle D. was my recovery room R. N. at the surgical center. She provided care to me and to the person who was next to me. I have had several surgeries through the years. Danielle provided me with by far the most attentive and comprehensive post-surgical care I have ever received. Her quality of care and compassionate personality were extraordinary comforting.
