Had both knees replaced by Dr Lynch three months apart. Everything went very well. Dr Lynch explained everything to me and did a great job because I am fully recovered. My last replacement was only three months ago.His follow up care was excellent and I would highly recommend him to anyone which I have already done.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lynch for over 30 years and can't imagine going to any other physician. His demeanor, candidness and ability to answer and alleviate my concerns are second to none. While I hope to never have to visit him again I can rest assured that if I do have any future needs of an Orthopedic doctor he is the one I will go to.

Starting at the beginning, the reception staff is friendly and professional. They never overbook and wait times are minimal. The PAs are, likewise, friendly and professional. But also knowledgeable and caring. Friendly & professional is a recurring theme when I think of Dr. Lynch's practice, and applies in spades to the doctor himself. He listened to my concerns and explained what needed explaining in a clear, non-condescending manner. Of course none of this would have mattered were he not the highly skilled and experienced surgeon that he is. My bi-lateral, total knee replacement went smoother than I could have ever imagined. There was minimal pain for this kind of procedure and I took a total of 2 oxycodone pills over the course of recovery and rehabilitation for both knees. I was up and walking (with a walker) the day after surgery. In both cases I traded the walker for a cane within 2 weeks, and the cane was gone within two months. I cannot recommend Dr. Lynch highly enough!

Dr. Lynch is a highly skilled surgeon. From my initial consultation to my latest follow-up, I have felt nothing but complete confidence and total comfort with Dr. Lynch's care. Beginning with scheduling my appointments, they do not overbook, the experience was completely positive. The waiting room is clean, and light and airy. The PAs who initially see you are competent, and friendly and caring. Dr. Lynch was sensitive to my concerns. He answered my questions completely and clearly, in a manner that I could easily understand. The surgeries (total replacement of both knees, three months apart) couldn't have gone better. I had a minimal amount of pain, and was up and moving around better than I have been able to in at least 15 years, sooner than I could ever have hoped for. Also important is his team. From reception to scheduling (no over-booking) to the PA's. Everyone was friendly and professional. I actually looked forward to office visits. I cannot recommend Dr. Lynch highly enough.

Half way into my initial visit it was clear that Dr. lynch was the right surgeon for my bi-lateral knee replacement. There was minimal pain for procedures as intensive as this and I was up and walking around, with a walker, the day after surgery. The walker was traded in for a cane in two weeks, and the cane was gone in two months. Six months after my first knee was replaced I am up and walking around better than I have in 20 years. I should also note that Dr. Lynch's team is equally outstanding., caring and friendly and utterly professional. They do not overbook. Wait times are minimal, and the office is clean and light and airy, a completely pleasant experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Lynch highly enough, 5 stars are not enough.

Dr. Lynch is simply the very Best knee doctor and I am so blessed to have had him as my surgeon. Very successful surgery and back to work after 3 weeks! Of course Physical Therapy is of the Utmost importance and Coastal has their own team at CT Ortho. I was in good hands for P/T with Mr. Chris Johnson as well. Healed quickly and scare fading quickly also. Quality of Life back...no more pain...no more limping....PTL ! GS

Dr. Michael Lynch specializes in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, pediatric orthopedics, knee/shoulder surgery, total joint replacement. He has been monitoring my 'knobbly knees' for the last few years and, most recently,is treating an injury to my right shoulder. I find him highly approachable, sensitive to his patients' concerns, and most informative as to his evaluations, recommendations. and treatment. His level of expertise does not go unrecognized: for at least the last six consecutive years, Connecticut Magazine has named him one of Connecticut's 'Top Docs' and one of the finest orthopedic surgeons in the area. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone seeking orthopedic care.

Thank you Dr Lynch! After a ski injury, my ACL, medial and lateral ligaments were torn. I can't thank him enough for the excellent care before, during, and after surgery. I am happily back on the slopes, and looking forward to another full "powder" winter. I would recommend Dr Lynch to my family and friends in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!
