List of Cynthia M. Ronan's Reviews
My gf went to this office a few times. She transferred out the Dr. and staff very rude. Also I feel Dana Webb who is HR at Griffin Hospital wrote one of the reviews below as I’m told she badmouths her employer and many of the doctors affiliated with Griffin. She contacted my gf re: a job to see if she was interested. My gf said “ yes “ Dana then stated “ oh I’ll let the manager at that location know your interested and I’ll call you back “ Dana never called my gf even left Dana a message and Dana never replied back. We have a friend that Dana did the same thing to like 6 months ago. Another friend contacted by Melissa from HR at Griffin who was looking for phlebotomy employment and Melissa stated “ oh you don’t need to be certified but it’s preferred. “ my friend use to be certified they didn’t renew it when pandemic hit. My friend clearly said this to Melissa . Melissa says “ oh that’s ok “ Two days later Melissa contacts my friend and says “ no they want someone with a certification so we won’t move forth with you “ in a cocky tone Melissa goes “ my did you apply if you weren’t certified “ ?! My friend responds “ the posting didn’t state one had to be certified and you said it was fine and now you come back saying a cert is needed. Melissa also hung up on my friend. ( which is unprofessional) In my opinion Griffin needs to step up their game and hire better HR staff not one’s who play games with applicants or one’s who bad mouth their employer. Dana and Melissa shouldn’t be working for Griffin . Also Ronan should. take a good look at all her bad reviews and change up her attitude and ways.
I cannot recommend this provider. I had symptoms that needed to be addressed quickly, and my usual provider was on vacation. I was booked with a PA in the medical group, but was called 10 minutes prior to my appointment to cancel. I had to very firmly state I needed to see a provider today, plus I had traveled an hour and a half to see a provider in the group and was already at the location of the provider. I was rebooked for an appointment 15 mins later at Dr. Ronan’s office. I have never been treated so unprofessionally. The front desk staff act as if you are inconveniencing them by coming through the front door. There were at least 3 staff in the front who were being so loud that I asked the medical assistant who was taking my BP to repeat what she said in the exam room, because I couldn’t hear her. Dr. Ronan seemed as if she did not even glance at my chart prior to coming into the exam room. She asked me when my last mammogram was, when I had already clearly stated I had never had a mammogram because I was not of age yet. She also asked me when I’d stopped breastfeeding, when my chart clearly states I’ve never been pregnant. The bottom line is the staff are unprofessional, the doctor does not care about patients, and it is no wonder they had openings right away. Absolutely would not recommend.
called for urgent new onset of symptoms looking for same day appointment and was dismissed by front desk receptionist stating Dr. Ronan is booked for today and not even triaged with a clinical staff member or by Dr. Ronan to ask more about my symptoms. Working in the medical field as a nurse this is not proper patient care. Urgent symptoms should be properly addressed with someone on the care team.
0 stars should be an option. She told me it was my responsibility to remind her when my annuals were due which is why i left her practice. She was the on call dr. I refused her services or to let her do a circumcision. The day I was being discharged she threw my discharge paperwork across thr hospital room. The hospital called me to apologize. If I knew then what I know now u would've sued her and griffin hospital.
Lmao I haven't even met the doctor yet and I'm leaving a review because I think it's that important. The first person that a person calling speaks with can make or break their experience at the facility. Especially if you're new and just searching. I know this place isn't right for me after speaking with Jessica, a medical assistant for Dr. Cynthia Ronan. Jessica picked up the phone and was shockingly and openly rude, ignored my concern as a possible first-time patient -then when repeated, replied rudely, "you'll be fine." I'll be damned if I open my legs up to someone that speaks to me like that lol Jessica condescendingly called me "honey" and "sweetie" after I asked her not to then put me on mute to talk about it. Bad business. Women, especially those that haven't ever seen a gynecologist, want to feel seen and heard, overall comfortable when dealing with the most sensitive and politicized parts of our body.. Staff should be ashamed. Seeing the comments definitely confirmed how I feel. Just made a new appt. closer to home! FYI my *personal experience, do as you please!!!
I heavily do not recommend any woman visits her office ever truly. I have had already issues and trauma from past doctor visits and hospitalizations and she managed to make it worse for me. I was not sexually active and only went for visits to continue receiving birth control. I had no reason of getting a pap smear and had not received any my first two yearly visits. My third yearly visit, she doesn't ask me any of the standard questions before examining me to see if something had changed, did not ask me if I was now sexually active, she asked me nothing. She then proceeded to perform a pap smear on me without me being aware that I was receiving one, gave me no verbal warning that she was going to perform it and as she was performing it disregarded how uncomfortable and in pain I was due to me never having had a pap smear before. She is truly the worst doctor I have ever met, and I have encountered several in my lifetime. Every woman should steer clear of this office and her at all costs. Find another doctor trust me. My anxiety around doctor offices was just getting better after my hospitalization but after this visit it has gone back to how it was at the start. If you are like me and have bad anxiety when it comes to doctor visits, completely avoid her. Not only was there this issue, but she was always running late, I understand some waiting time, its expected, however I would be leaving the office nearly two hours after my set appointment time which is absolutely ridiculous. The staff, horrible as well, never a pleasant experience once.
Nothing to do with the front desk. Just a mill for surgeries.
Dr. Ronan is amazing. She has been my gyno for 26 years. She is very knowledgeable, kind and caring.
I’ve been going to Dr.Ronan for over 12 years and she has always been wonderful to me and her staff as well.
This office is a joke. No one knows what they are doing. When I first started there they assumed I had a miscarriage without speaking to me. Almost forced me to pay $1000 out of pocket for going there. Now it’s been more than 8 weeks of not seeing a doctor and I haven’t received any phone calls to schedule baby appointments or anything. And now that I want to switch practices they’re giving me the run around. Talking about I need to sign a release form which I did and now it takes up to 30 days. That is unacceptable. They saw me the same day I made my first appointment now I can’t switch doctors just as easy? No. The front desk receptionist always has an attitude. Like. By the time they release my records I’m going to be giving birth.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
