I saw Dr Barajas recently and while the staff was very friendly and compassionate, the Dr was cold, uncaring, did not show empathy and I was actually embarrassed to be in her presence, due to her total lack of concern. This may be the worst experience that I have had to date with any Dr. It's really sad, actually. She did not smile once and did absolutely nothing to put me at ease. She needs to remember that each and every patient has feelings. A little compassion and empathy can go a long way.

I first met de. Barajas in New Haven when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was so scared but she was the best. I now have yearly follow ups with her and I look forward to my visits. Her staff, Christine and Katherine, are great too

Dr. Barajas is an incredible human being & an exceptional Physician/Surgeon! I honestly can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Barajas and her staff (Christine and Kathryn). They are incredibly professional, thorough, educated, kind and compassionate (I could go on & on). The day of my first breast surgery was incredibly long, emotional and difficult for me...Dr. Barajas (and her surgical team) were unbelievable! They were very informative and incredibly compassionate!

Dr. Barajas has been my MD for a number of years, and I have found her to be truly wonderful. She is highly skilled, yet brings a sense of warmth and sincerity that I've never found in other breast specialists. I finally made the decision to have a preventive double mastectomy in Jan 2017, and I never felt regret or doubt knowing that she and her team where behind me. It's not an easy decision to make, but I felt more confident with her heading the surgery. She is Wonderful!!
