Dr. Ponomarenko performed a difficult surgery on me and has been extremely helpful in explaining my situation, which is a unique one. He has walked me through the different aspects of my case and has set me up well to have the best results possible. I appreciate all he has done for me.

Excellent doctor. I Igor did my surgery in 2016. Took over 4 hours due to some serious complications. 3 days after the surgery I was resting in Dominican rep only thanks to Dr. Ponomarenko. I disagree with some negative comments posted. Negative person - always posting negative comments, so the value of their feedback is negligent. Thank you Dr. Ponomarenko!

It’s true Dr. Pono is not very talkative until you get to know him. We got to know him and he truly is one of the best. If he doesn’t give you all the information you want, ask specifics. If you need more, ask his PA. He saved my husband’s life and we continue to see him for care until the next surgery.

My experience with Dr. Ihor Ponomarenko was awful!! My wife had surgery at Griffin Hospital. The doctor was Ihor Ponomarenko. I was with my wife in the pre- op area before her surgery the nurses were very nice. The doctor walked in, looked like he just woke up after a rough nite. He did not even introduce himself to me. As my wife and I were both concerned for her well-being this doctor walked in started rubbing his hands through his hair and proceeded to examine my wife, the guy didn't even put gloves on. He didn't explain what he was going to be doing what we should expect nothing. No follow call either! My wife has had surgery in this hospital before. The doctors were always nice and introduced himself to me, explained to both of us what was happening what we should expect and there was always a follow up call. I would not recommend this doctor to anybody!!

I needed emergency gall bladder surgery. I am truly thankful for what he did for me doing my surgery laparoscopic and not cutting me open to remove my excessive amount of stones I had.

Dr. Pono and his team did an awesome job removing my appendix. He is focused and meticulous. I felt safe and wouldn't change a thing about it if I had to do it over again. Thank you!
