Jennifer Scruggs-Benassis's Online Review Report Card

The most unprofessional doctor of any kind that I have ever seen. Narcissistic, degrading, does not show up for appointments, or is extremely late. Does not follow through with filling prescriptions, disregards any previous therapy or treatment because, in her exact words, "I do things my own way." Never did an intake form, and never gave proper information for filing insurance claims. Unless you want to be degraded and financially abused, DO NOT call this "doctor.

Not only was she completely rude and inappropriate with how she spoke with me but she also didn't let me speak at all and told me how I was feeling then pushed me to make a plan that involved intense treatment and meds without even asking what other medications I was on. I only saw her once and she told me I should be committed despite the fact that I didn't even get to tell her my symptoms. Run away and find a doctor that will actually do an intake with you.

My experience with Dr. Scruggs was truly horrible from start to finish. I wish I had recognized the red flags during our introductory call. She is unprofessional in every way. Spends most of the session talking about her thoughts, her opinions and her assumptions on your personal issues. Missed several scheduled appointments and if she did make an appointment she was always late. Takes advantage of people financially. Likes to describe herself as her own type of MD, who does not stick conventional ways - however, the case is that she is just not good at her job, is lazy and unprofessional. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Absolute worst "therapist" I have ever seen. Self-involved, always late, does not follow through or communicate in professional manner. There is only one way, and that is her way. Not once did she provide me with a diagnosis code, after repeatedly asking, instead stating "I am the doctor. That is not your concern." Refused to prescribe much needed medications. Constantly puts you down to make you feel inferior. This woman should not be allowed to practice any type of therapy or medicine.
