Jorge Diez's Online Review Report Card

Do not go to this guy!! He talks way over your head yet he does not explain anything. He oversaw my case in the hospital and he was such a poor communicator that I felt like throwing him out of the room!! He left out important details and did not seem really invested in helping me. He talked down and accused me of lying!!! Run from this guy not to mention you can’t understand him half the time.. typical love myself specialist doc!!

i was not overly pleased BUT not displeased with my first visit. i found him to be thorough in his exam and in his questions to gather my knowledge of Diabetes. i did find him to be a bit aloof but sinse this was a first visit i can not say whether he is always this way. i also found his accent a bit difficult to understand but that was not really a problem communicating with him. since i do not like to give recomendations in general i gave him a middle of the road evaluation.

Dr Diez is very professional and informative during your office visit. He answered my questions thoroughly. His office staff was courteous and efficient. I left with a printed summary of my visit, my test results, and my next lab slips and scheduled appointment. I was very pleased with my visit

Dr. Diez does not actually care about his patients. Most recently, I voiced a series of concerns. He told me that weight gain isn't from thyroid imbalance and didn't even speak to the other concerns. He left the room abruptly, didn't do the usual exam to check for enlarged thyroid, and when I peeked out to ask if he was planning to come back, he turned around, scoffed, and said, "I'm very busy today." Not to mention rude receptionists and he's always late. This appt was just the last straw.

I had to wait over an hour for both of my appointments with Dr. Diaz. I left the second appointment after having to watch him sit in his office while I was waiting in the exam room. He is one of the most insensitive doctors I have ever met. I was concerned about my weight gain from my thyroid problem and his professsional advice was that weight gain from hypothyroidism is a myth started by Oprah and that I should try weight watchers. Don’t waste your time and money with Dr. Diaz.

Dr. Diez is a wonderful and caring doctor. He listens to what you have to say and gives you helpful information about necessary steps to help you keep your blood sugar under control. He checks all areas that need to be addressed and keeps you informed of what is happening in your body. He has a very gentle bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I’m happy to have him as my Doctor!!

Dr. Diez is a quack. I had to leave an excellent endocrinologist because my insurance changed and my old doctor was no longer in network. Dr. Diez idea of treating diabetes is to just throw insulin at it, which of course causes weight gain. My A1c has skyrocketed despite taking more than twice the insulin. I was under great control for years and now I have no control. Stay away from this awful doctor! He is arrogant and talks down to me. He doesn't listen at all.

I never got to see Dr Diez because the receptionist was so rude and poorly trained. She asked me why I wanted to see the doctor and then proceeded to dispense medical advise stating that an endocrinologist doesn't treat those symptoms and asking me about how I got his name and then asking for a place recommendation and all recent lab work. I complied with her request and never heard back. If I knew her name I would report her for dispensing medical advice without being a doctor or nurse.
