Dr Karabinis preformed hernia repair on me. After the surgery I was in horrible pain and Dr Karabinis wouldn’t even see me in his office nor would be provide pain relief. After seeing another surgeon and having a CT scan, the mesh he implanted was too small and was buckled and detached. I had the mesh removed and the hernia repaired without mesh. I now live a pain free life after being medically harmed by Dr Karabinis. I recommend a second opinion before letting this doctor operate on you.

Dr. K was beyond amazing. Very caring and made me feel comfortable. I felt very secure under his care. I have already recommended him to others in need.

Dr Karabinis did surgery on a hernia for me. I was in horrible pain and each time I called him asking for help he just kept referring me to the emergency room. I felt completely let down by him and have opted to see another surgeon who can get to the cause of this terrible pain. Just to be clear, I’m not a pill seeker, however after a major surgery I don’t think anyone should be left to suffer in pain.

Dr Karabinis give top shelve heath care. I have had 2 hernia repairs, aorta resection, major vein replace in my leg. I have been very happy with him, excellent surgeon.

My experience with Dr. Karabinis was a positive one. I had an emergency appendectomy and it was on a holiday and he had been performing several emergency surgeries that day. I was the last one just before midnight and he saved my life.

Dr. Karabinis is currently treating me for a documented life threatening condition. He is extremely communicative; always makes time to insure all my questions / concerns are addressed; displays genuine concern for the outcome of my situation after his intervention; and, displays the utmost professionalism at each office; or, hospital appointment.

I am unable to rate the Dr. including on bedside manner as after I waited over an hour to see him, the receptionist told me it would be another 1/2 to be seen. What would have been courteous is to let me know when I arrived that it would be a lengthy wait as opposed to 'running just a little behind'. Good part is there are plenty of other general surgeons to go see, and I suggest everyone does just that.

He told my mother before surgery on her carotid artery that there was a chance she could have a stroke on the table. When I asked him what happens in the event that this does happen - his response was "She's screwed." I don't find that to be professional. Also - nobody at the hospital knew wheen he would be doing his "rounds." Again - unprofessional.
