I have been struggling with a dislocation in my right foot. When I first saw Dr. Reach over two years ago, he recommended surgery. Because of Pandemic restrictions and my thinking that I would be able to handle the pain and stumbling, I put off the surgery for too long. When I returned to Dr. Reach's office, I knew I had made the right decision to proceed with the surgery. Dr. Reach went through all of the information and details about the surgery; I left with a very clear picture of what my treatment would be. I just want to add that having a pleasant and supportive staff as he does, was very reassuring to me.

My Total Ankle Replacement surgery was performed by Dr Reach and his team at Yale-New Haven Hosp when I was 66yrs old in Sept-2016. Now going on 6yrs later I am happy to report that the surgery was a complete success, the entire procedure and recovery was absolutely as predicted. I could not be more impressed with the skill and confidence I felt with Dr. Reach. One downside no one prepared me for : I let my ankle go without surgery for at least 25 -30yrs after previous ankle surgery. This changed my gait and unbeknownst to me this wore my hip joint prematurely on same leg and I had to have hip replacement late 2018. Both replacements are working beautifully. Dr. Reach is a perfectionist!

Staff very lackluster, very very long wait time in the waiting room

A multitude of errors: Virtual visit scheduled, did not call, was told he was running late and he would call soon. 1 hour later, called back, was told it was rescheduled to 10:00 AM, nobody called and notified me of that, was then told it was internet issues, and now the call was scheduled for 5:00 PM. Doctor called @ 5:45 said the office should have said, "at end of rounds, not 5:00" After call, went to office for a specimen to be sent to lab, was told about 5 days. After 10 days of not hearing, called back left a message no return call. 3 days later, called back, they said they would ck and call back. Never called back, I called left a message. When they finally returned my call, they informed me the lab lost my results. You would think if a practice does not have any results to a test, they would follow up with the lab. Dr. Reach may be a good doctor, I will never know, as the lack of communication and miscommunication of the staff has soured me on the practice.

Dr. Reach and his staff are terrific! I appreciate that Dr. Reach explains injury and care extremely well, and performed my surgery perfectly. His staff also take great care in their professions, from nursing. X-rays to billing, each interaction has been pleasant,
