Bryan E. Sage's Online Review Report Card

At a time when my student daughter was very upset at the possibility of a serious injury, Dr. Sage was abrasive, hurried and seemed angry. As a parent who is out of state, it is disheartening that this is representative the local assistance. This guy should try to remember his beginnings and lose the attitude.

I brought my mom in to Orthofast after she slipped and fell on water at a local grocery store and injured her arm/shoulder. The receptionist was kind and took her information and provided an ice pack. An X-ray was taken and we waited to see the results. My mom was clearly in pain. The doctor walked in, never introduced himself or asked her name. He showed no sign of being interested in moms wellbeing, did not open the X-ray until we asked to see it and explain what he saw. He made a comment about her age and that she probably would not be wanting surgery even if it was a shoulder tear. No follow up was recommended. My mom and I were very upset by his callous disregard for a patients health. We both felt he has an issue with aging patients. IF there is ever a need to go back there you can be sure we will ask who the attending doctor is first.

Dr. Sage was great! He treated my knee pain and I have recommended him to my friends.

I Visited orthofast for pain in my arm I’ve been a nurse for 40 years and have never experienced such a disappointing doctor who had no compassion or feelings he was cold hearted and rude he could care less about why I was there he looked at the X-rays they took for about 10 seconds and diagnosed me based on my age and said at your age it’s common to have a tear but didn’t see a tear and offered me a shot of cortisone and therapy he knew I wasn’t pleased with him and more or less said if I didn’t want his two suggestions then there was nothing left to offer making it seem like I was an ungrateful and uncooperative patient God knows why a heartless person like Dr Sage would ever go into the field of medicine surely this man has no compassion, so much for taking an oath to help the sick ! ! ! ! P.S. this is the only bad review I ever left on anyone pretty sad because I wasn’t happy about leaving it but felt I needed to ! ! ! ! The staff was very nice by the way and the PA’s are great

I broke my tibia and fibula late one evening and visited Ortho Fast for help. After taking an x-ray Dr. Sage diagnosed the problem and communicated with a surgeon colleague to tell me how to proceed with the injury the next morning. He provided relief for my pain and reduced/set the fracture to put a splint/cast on. He took another set of x-rays to confirm it was properly reduced. When I visited the ankle surgeon the next day, they were impressed with this work. Dr. Sage did a fantastic job with my foot. It was a hard day for me, I was a mess, and he helped out perfectly.

The best experience you could have at a doctor’s office.

Dr. Sage treated my 16 year old daughter's shoulder injury and did a great job. He was friendly and efficient.

Dr. Sage took his time to listen to my problem and provided me with a well informed treatment plan that had me feeling better in no time. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy doctor!

Horrible experience with this doctor today, 08/23/21. Shouldn't get any stars! My daughter hurt her hand 2 days ago and was complaining of thumb pain and numbness. We went to Ortho Fast in Fairfield, CT. After waiting a good half an hr to see this doctor he comes in, doesn't even introduce himself. He asked what happened, my daughter explained. She mentioned numbness and tingling. Have you seen a neurologist? Just ice your thumb it will be fine; it's not broken and he walks out of the office! He maybe spent 2 minutes with us. I will be sure to share this with my family and friends and tell them NOT to use this doctor.

When you put down that someone’s “diagnosis” as “Overweight” on their file but don’t have the professionalism or courtesy to mention it face to face, you know this person isn’t trustworthy or a “doctor” at all. Crass doctor with poor bedside manner. Try a different line of work
