List of Connecticut Vascular Surgical Associates Pc's Reviews
When I went to this office the first time I was seen by a very nice Dr. Blattman who wanted to book a follow-up appointment with me. Unfortunately the secretaries in this office are completely incompetent. Because of the nature of my job I have no way of knowing whether I will be in town months in advance to schedule appointments 3+ months ahead, so I frequently call to see if any appointments have opened up. To prevent me from calling back secretaries are super rude often say things like "there is a very low likelihood of cancellations" or anything to deter me from *bothering* them. After recently scheduling an appointment with a PA, (not Dr. Blattman) the PA was super rude when I shared my tests results from (multiple) referring doctors saying things like "well I would never tell a patient that" about the results my doctors discussed with me concerning my previous test results. It was almost as if the PA was accusing me of making it up... I offered to email the PA my test results/visit summaries directly from the referring doctors but she said she was not interested because she said "scans look different at every office". Despite the fact that I had already gotten scans of my problem area from multiple offices, the fact that this PA did not even show any interest in *looking* at these scans is so incredibly unprofessional and concerning - and her accusatory attitude was shocking. I don't know why someone who doesn't want to help patients would go into the medical field (oh right - MONEY). Ultimately patients who to the doctor often go because of a problem or concern - they are vulnerable, and probably have a decent amount of fear and anxiety about going to the doctor's office. This PA should be fired. I have no interest in seeing another PA too lazy to go for a full medical degree.. The the whole secretarial phone staff at this office needs to be replaced. The one good thing about this office is Dr. Blattman. Unfortunately due to gatekeeping it is almost impossible to get an appointment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
