I called on Monday and was very happy to be given an appointment on Tuesday. Reception was fully staffed and taking patients quickly. I was in a treatment room within 5 minutes of arrival. All treatment was explained and executed in a timely manner. I also appreciate doing the check in paperwork online, which was just a review of info already given instead of having to fill everything in again as I have had to do in other practices.

Dr Martin has fixed both my shoulders. Always efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I’m a frequent flyer at CT Ortho, and every doctor I’ve met has been great!! Just wish they would open an office closer to me in Southbury.

Beware this practice. This practice does NOT accept Medicare assignment. You are therefore responsible for all billing charges from this practice, and the charges are HIGH. Please do not make the mistake that my wife and I did. Find another practice that accepts Medicare assignment. Also, their billing department has very poor communication and follow thru. We provided both of our medical insurance cards on 3 separate occasions. Billing got messed up each time.

Data supports that he is good at doing knee replacements. But his bedside manner is like a "Jumping Cholla Cactus". Does not like questions nor challenges to his answers. Can be impatient. In this day and age doctors are not gods. He thinks he is. Their support of patients does not end when they get your business.
