Coronis Amir totally misdiagnosed my very High Bloog pressure. he never checked for hyperaldosteronism which was the ACTUAL cause of my high blood pressure. For years, I was on the wrong medication and blood pressure wasn’t very well controlled. As a result I have a left ventricular problem, and an aortic aneurysm from the high blood pressure. Before they discovered this, . He was very arrogant( when I asked him if anything else could be causing my high blood pressure. He told me to stop googling the Internet.). Terrible irresponsible.

Doran Amir misdiagnosed my very high blood pressure for years had me on the wrong medication which actually made things worse. I asked him if there’s anything else that can be checked that’s causing my high blood pressure he simply said “shut up and stop googling medical stuff on the Internet”. Months later it turned out that I have hyper aldosteronism which can cause high very blood pressure. Their excuse was it’s very rare but the thing is I asked him to check other things and he deliberately refused. Needless to say he’s no longer my cardiologists. Now with the proper medication, my blood pressure is extremely easy to control. The man’s an arrogant ass.

I would like to give 10 stars for doctor’s Amir staff , the girls on the front desk were super helpful, friendly and kind to me. Doctor Amir is so friendly , caring, very professional. Doctor Amir is 10 stars for sure and also his staff at bridgeport location. I needed a last minute visit and one of his staff got me right in and also help out and direct me with all my last minute tests appointments. Doctor Amir is super friendly and caring. Dr. Amir totally missed diagnosed my high blood pressure. He had me on the wrong type of medication for years. That Arrogant doctor Never checked for hyper-aldosteronism which affects my adrenal glands. Doctors think it’s rare but it’s not nearly as rare as people think it is. The last time I saw him I asked him AGAIN, if there’s anything else he can check what’s causing my high blood pressure and he actually told me to “shut up” and just lose more weight. He never ordered the proper hormone test to see if I had any problems with aldosterone levels in my adrenal glands. When I had my blood pressure taken it was around 220/120 then NOT him, but his PA finally ordered the hormone tests. After that He never returned my calls. The medical group is protecting him. I’ll never go back to that medical group again. Unfortunately, many doctors are not looking for this hormonal problem in the adrenal glands.

I’m sure he’s Basicly good physician. However. His problem is a personality problem He failed to discover that my high blood pressure was due to an adrenal disorder. He never told me there was a simple hormonal blood test I would’ve confirmed it. He refused to listen to me when I asked him (repeatedly) if there’s anything else I can have checked that’s causing my erratic blood pressure. He could be quite arrogant and dismissive to his patients

Thorough, took his time, listened carefully, answered all questions. Very professional and very pleasant. I was quite nervous on arrival but felt comfortable from the first minute . Help me a great deal. Recommend without reservations! His staff was also very friendly and made me feel comfortable.

Dr Amir is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.. Every time I have an appointment with Dr. Amir, he treats me as if I am a member of his family.. Caring, thoughtful, patient and considerate. I couldn’t ask for a better Cardiologist!! I’m very Blessed..
