Had my lasik surgery done with Dr. Donnenfeld yesterday & I couldn't be any happier!!!! I went today for my post op visit and have 20/20 vision. He is an incredible, smart, tall, and handsome man!!!!! He is very knowledgeable, walked me through every step of the surgery and made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend him as a lasik surgeon, cataract surgeon, and corneal transplant surgeon. He is the best at everything he does!!! I had lasik surgery with Dr. Donnenfeld back in 2005. At the time, he advised me that because of a significant amount of astigmatism, I would likely be a candidate for a touch up at some point. Amazingly, that was never needed and my distance vision is still at 20-20, if not better! I am so thrilled at these results that I have encouraged my wife to have needed cataract surgery done by Dr. Donnenfeld, at the expense of possibly insulting her long-term ophthamologist. I highly recommend Dr. Donnenfeld.

I had Lasik Surgery done by Dr. Donnenfeld when I was 18 years old and starting college. He corrected my vision from 20/400 to 20/20. 13 years later my eyes began changing (as I was warned was a possibility) to the point they were 20/40. I went back to Dr. Donnenfeld and he performed PRK surgery. My vision is now 20/13 bilaterally. It is the best money I have ever spent, and life-changing. Not that it matters, but I am a Physician Assistant, and would highly recommend this doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Donnenfeld's since 1994. He has performed two corneal transplants (one on each eye) on me as well as Lasik on my father and many many of my friends. I see lots of complaints about wait times - well, when you're the best, everyone wants to see you. I go and know it's going to take a little while because he doesn't rush through patients. To complain about the wait time is ridiculous - it's your eyes and he's the #1 doctor. I trust Dr Donnenfeld completely and wouldn't go to anyone else.

As an interventional cardiologist, I need my eyes. But after many years of contacts and glasses I felt it was time to get an opinion. A colleague of mine who is an ophthalmologist referred me to Dr Donnenfeld. The eval was easy and extremely thorough. After I was evaluated and deemed a good candidate I met Dr Donnenfeld. He was reassuring and told me that we would get a good result. Im not even one day out, I have minimal pain/discomfort. I really couldn't be happier.

I tried scleral lens without satisfactory results. I wanted to avoid surgery as long as possible given the complexity of my eyes, however the time came where surgery was necessary. He went above and beyond to put me at ease perioperatively for a procedure I had been nervous about and delayed for years. His superb results allowed me to do something I previously had never experienced-- waking up in the morning with the ablility to see when I first opened my eyes. It has been life changing for me and changed my comfort at work, driving and everything in between. If you need corrective eye surgery, whether simple or complex, I highly recommend Dr. Donnenfeld.
