I had an Issue with my left knee … Dr "K" was excellent and efficient . Took XRays and gave me a treatment .. Next Day 85% of pain is gone ...

He's very soothing and calming as he explains things. He's emphathetic and really listens. These are qualities that are, sadly, hard to find in many doctors today. He works out of two locations and his staff are helpful and proactive, another set of qualities that are almost long gone in many doctors offices today. Besides all that, I really just love Dr. Komninakas. He's wonderful and I am so glad that he's my doctor.

My husband and I have both had positive experiences with Dr Komninakas. My husband had carpal tunnel surgery in both hands (surgeries done separately) with great results. I had a knee replacement done. The antibiotic that I needed for future dental appts because of the knee replacement, was causing severe allergic reactions and he listened carefully to my complaints and offered an alternate medication which has been a big improvement. The office is well staffed, with short wait times to be seen

I was treated in a very unprofessional matter, 4 days before my surgical procedure which was scheduled 5 weeks in advance, I received a phone call stating, "the physicians assistant will not make it from vacation in time to perform the procedure" and that I would have to pick a different day, I cannot believe they would treat a patient like that. They do not take consideration that not only I but my wife had to take time off of work in advance to them extending a vacation is more important.

I have never met another doctor who even comes close to Dr. Komninakas as far as skill, patient friendliness. I had 2 other doctors tell me they could not replace my knees because I was too heavy for the surgery. Dr. Komninakas assured me he could and would replace both my knees, and he did...Perfectly!!! Thank You Doctor Komninakas!

I was searching for over a year for a good orthopedic. I had a previous knee injury, which was "fixed" according to the butcher of a doctor! Two years after my first surgery still in a lot of pain and yet another tear. I began searching for a "good" orthopedic. I was able to see four doctors one was worse than the other. Some were intelligent but were very dismissive with poor bedside manner. Others acted as if everything was fine and told me It was not that big of a deal. Anyhow, I was determined to find one that had the complete package. I needed a doctor who was going to be a good, surgeon, smart, and honest. I am so happy to say that Dr.K definitely fits the bill! He is kind, knowledgeable and honest. The Shelton office is great! His staff is so understanding, and caring! I'm so happy I found this place. I was so afraid I was going to have to settle for mediocrity. I had to write a review! I did my research on Dr.k and I can't believe there aren't more reviews posted on the web. They totally deserve it!
