The staff are very nice and helpful. The x ray techs were great. However......He made many sarcastic comments, didn't listen, and I had to ask for the second x ray that showed my problem after he told me I was fine...he was rude, made comments about my m.s. and mri's being pointless for that, and I left in tears. I would not send my pets to that man.
I went in to OSG after a week of banging my knee. Besides no bed manner, i felt that Dr Fitzgibbons dragged me into unnecessary treatments like an X-ray and brace when he knew all along i tore my meniscus. I lost a month in delays. my last meeting with him about surgery he was very "vague" like we will get in and clean up and remove etc. When i asked questions about recovery it was very vague and nothing definitive. I went to HSS, very professional, informative and most of all Compassion!
I had a very bad fall while spraying bees. It was a ground level fall on my driveway. I broke my femur, hip, and wrist. It took about year of therapy to get me to 95%. It happen on a Friday night. I thank God the Dr. FitzGibbons was on call that weekend. Dr. FitzGibbons and his team put me back together. I do mean back to together. The photos will explain why.Make sure you open all 3 photos. I can't thank him and his staff enough for all they did. I highly recommend Dr. FitzGibbons.
Dr. Fitzgibbons is a miracle worker. I could not go to any other Ortho Doctor. He worked a miracle on my wife's arm.
He was clear and confident. Spoke with respect and compassion. Undoubtedly a very skilled surgeon. In this world where there are less and less reimbursements for medical care, he didn't take short cuts and did an excellent arthroscopic repair on my knee.
He is a skilled surgeon. He was clear about the options and was very diligent. In the new changing field in medicine where payments are being slashed he took no short cuts and did an excellent job on my knee.
Dr Fitzgibbons is a truly caring and extremely thorough with his patients. I had a great experience with him and trust that I'm in good hands and will continue to be, throughout my treatment. He scheduled the appropriate follow-up and explained my diagnosis and various methods/ options to recovery.
Great experience- shoulder surgery. Would definitely recommend him.
Rude, uncaring...took a month to finally diagnose a fracture in my upper arm. His attitude was well you're half way to it being healed. Told me to being doing over head stretches for the first month then told me not to move my arm from side- but said a sling won't help, just hold it there. Staff seem pressured, getting questions answered is difficult to impossible. He may be a very knowledgeable doctor, but he needs to listen to his patients and recognize they are in pain, not being a pain who pays his salary!
He did not preform the knee replacement surgery properly and failed with in 6 months. After another 6 months I had a joint specialist replace the knee again With better results this time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
