If you enjoy waiting on hold for minutes at a time, calling the office multiple days in a row to have a prescription filled, or being constantly told “we’ll leave a message for the doctor”, then go ahead with this office. One of the staff members graciously gave me his personal cell to text a request for a prescription after days of my calling the office. I texted him twice, with no reply or even a thumbs up to confirm the medication was called in to the pharm. When I called the office yet again, Dr. Thimons told me bruskly that it was called in & that he sees a lot of patients, so can’t reply to the all. Dr. Thimons is a good doctor, but dealing with the office & overall communication. isn’t worth the aggravation.

My 16-year old son had surgery in PA for tumor in his eye. We needed local eye care, Dr. Thimons was recommended and has been amazing. Despite not having a lot of direct experience with my son's issue, he has known exactly the right treatments for my son's various complications and he has gone above and beyond to fit us in when my son has experienced discomfort. Additionally, Dr. Thimons kindness and care set my son at ease during a very difficult time. If you live in Stamford or Fairfield there is no better eye care than Dr. Thimons.

I am a 20 year patient of Dr. Thimmons, he is wonderful and thorough. The staff is the worst including the front desk manager. I requested my 20 year records 3 times and my new eye doctor has not received them. What does it take to get my records??

I have only used ophthalmologists for my eye care however when I moved to Norwalk Dr. Thimons was recommended. I was skeptical but NO MORE. His office is clean, well organized and responsive to issues/ patient need. I have now seen Dr Thimons three times over a years time. At each appointment he took time to listen explain and provide better diagnoses and care plan than ever before. He is so smart, intuitive, and practical. And, soooo personable. This is someone I highly recommend
