I lived in RI & had the same eye Dr for the past 35 years. I've seen him annually & not needed an emergency visit. The 2 hour drive makes it difficult to get there for that kind of a visit. I woke up with a red swollen eye & needed to see someone here in CT. I'd never gone to the practice before, but they fit me right in. I saw Dr Sarracino for an emergency visit. She did a very thorough exam. My eye pressure was above normal so I have to go back from a full exam. I found her to be very understanding of my being so nervous. She has a great beside manor which I really appreciate in a physician. I feel confident she'll take great care of my eyes & she'll now be my new Dr.

Excellent doctor! Took the time to educate me, reviewed med history with every visit, didn't appear rushed even tho there were several patients waiting to see her. I didn't mind the wait time until I saw her because she took time to educate me, answer questions, review med history, inquired abt allergies before prescribing choice of meds for my condition.

Dr. Sarracino recently performed a successful operation on my mother's left eye and continues to monitor her (improving) vision post-operation. I believe she is very skilled, knowledgeable and thorough. She has always taken the time to answer my and my mother's questions (in layman's terms when necessary,) and she explains the reasoning behind her recommendations. She is also courteous and pleasant.
