If I could give him a rating of 0.00000 I would. This man don’t deserve to be called a doctor. A doctor in my opinion give truth, compassion, empathy and caring towards his patients. This Malin person is by far the worst on all of the above. I’m the POA for my mother who had a knee replacement in August 2021. Though she kept on telling him something is not right with her knee. He ignore the heck out of her. He answered none of her questions and how she’s feeling. When she’s explaining to him how she feels. He kept staring at her, then back at the computer, typing away like no one talking to him. First, I should have mentioned how he had us wait for 35 minutes before he came in the office. Spend 5 minutes writing notes, then walked out. I had to go look for him and asked if he wasn’t coming back. He left us there sitting…(how awful can one person be!?) He waited for the next follow up visit to tell her she needs to have another surgery. This is because therapy failed. So he needs to go back in to do a manipulation. She again explained to him this was what she was saying from the beginning and he ignored her symptoms. He again looked at her, then looked at me and proceeded to stand and leave. That’s when I had to ask him some more questions about this manipulation surgery. Horrible of explaining himself. A person like this should NOT be practicing. After her 2nd surgery- you would think he would have empathy. It get worse. He switched her to see another doctor in the group. Telling us that his duties are over with her. My mother is still not able to straighten and bend her leg without pain. Still not able to touch her leg due to numbness and sensitivity. Standing and sitting for 10 minutes is excruciating. He told her his last visit with her in January of 2022. So get ready to go back to work now! No restrictions given to provide to her employer. No best we’ll wishes. He just walked out the office again left us talking to him while he’s walking. My mother needs to have the next knee done. She will NOT be doing it with him.
Don't see Dr. Malin if you're looking for a new bestie. See him if you're looking for a brilliant surgeon. I needed a knee replacement, but my situation is complicated by prior operations and my age (I'm young for this procedure at 43). Dr. Malin was recommended by another surgeon who performs knee replacements, but didn't feel up to the task. He said there was no better surgeon in the state than Dr. Malin. I'm thrilled with the result. Most surgeons I consulted with wanted to give me a complete knee replacement, but he did better for me with a less invasive procedure that buys me 10-15 years before I have to have a full replacement. Patients giving him one or two stars: I understand. He's not the most personable. He can come off as abrasive. He's short. He certainly doesn't look to connect on a personal level. So again, if you're looking for a buddy, look somewhere else. If, on the other hand, you want a surgeon other surgeons look up to, make an appointment with Dr. Malin.

DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! The WORST doctor I have ever seen. Rude! Condescending! I have been to many different doctors in the past 15 years but have NEVER encountered someone as NASTY as him! STAY AWAY
He just starred at me when I asked a question. Extremely negative, arrogant and condescending. Gave me the creeps - couldn't believe the attitude. Ran out of there as fast as I could.
This man is very condescending, rude and has zero bedside manner. You have to keep asking questions to get any information instead of him offering insight or help. Unfortunately I have been seen by this man twice. He gives OSG a bad name.
This man is condescending and rude. Unfortunately I have been seen by him twice and both times he was the same. No personality. No bedside manner. Not helpful or informative whatsoever. OSG should be ashamed.
Knee replacement, new procedure to keep incision intact without staples, zip line, explaining everything.

Doctor Malin did a complete knee replacement 7 years ago tomorrow. I can do anything I want with no restrictions. He did a great job. If I need another joint replacement I will have Doctor Malin do it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
