I felt cared for and listened to with Dr. Fabian. She has a great deal of knowledge and discernment.

Dr. Fabian and I went back and forth with pre-op visits and strategic discussions about what we could do for my shoulder for a few years before we ultimately scheduled my surgery to stabilize my shoulder and address the damage I'd done over the prior 15 years of having a torn labrum and doing nothing about it. Once I committed to having surgery, Dr. Fabian worked with me at my pace to address both my concerns and my goals (didn't want to continue dislocating/subluxing, and wanted to be able to surf/throw/work out with minimal issue/interruption). She's extremely knowledgeable, direct, and open minded about the strategy of care for what I wanted/needed and helped me understand both why I had the issues I had, and how to live with my "new shoulder" post surgery! A year later, and I have her expertise and advice to thank - she not only operated on me, but educated me and helped me understand how to live with my "new shoulder" and ensure I was treating it with the care she did!

I had an MRI that showed a torn rotator cuff and tendinosis in the bicep and the subscapularis. After another dr told me I wouldn’t get better without surgery, I went to her. She said surgery is not inevitable. She prescribed therapy which made my shoulder a little less painful and more mobile. After 1 mo therapy, she gave me a cortisone shot in just the right place that did wonders. Continued therapy has given me almost full mobility with little pain. I will see her again in about 2 months. Another shot is possible. She is not quick to do surgery and she explains clearly what surgery and recovery involve.

Dr. Lauren Fabian, MD is the best doctor for shoulder surgery. We exhausted 2 years of injections because I was trying to avoid surgery. After the surgery was over and to this day and during physical therapy I have not experienced any pain. I wish I did the full replacement 2 years earlier. She walks you through everything that is going to happen. SHE IS THE BEST

Dr Fabian has great bedside manner. When I first went in to see Dr Fabian I couldn’t lift my arm. She performed rotator cuff repair surgery on me and I must say she did a phenomenal job. I am thankful that only after 4 months I feel 100% better than I did from our initial visit. Thanks to Dr. Fabian I have almost 100% motion in my shoulder and arm. Dr. Fabian and her staff and the physical therapy folks at OSG are top notch. I’m very grateful to the doctor for her skill and professionalism.

Been to many doctors over the years for sports injuries but never have I felt so comfortable then I did with Dr. Fabian. She was confident in the procedure I needed to fix my knee and made the entire experience a pleasure.
