Lawrence P Kirschenbaum's Online Review Report Card

I went to see Dr. Kirschenbaum feeling a great deal of pain. My symptoms were twofold. I have chronic pain due to arthritis in my back and I pulled a muscle in my side. He was unsympathetic and didn’t listen to my symptoms. He cut me off every time I started to speak. He said he was a spine doctor and gave injections. Dr. Kirschenbaum said that it was useless to treat me without my records. He didn’t even allow me to explain.Today I can hardly move due to the pain in my back. I found another doctor but my appointment is next month.I will never go back to him or OSG again. He was the worst doctor I have experienced.

This doctor did not listen to me. I walked away feeling like I hadn’t seen a real doctor, a real orthopedist. He didn’t listen to symptoms. He said he was a spine doctor and he did injections. He said he didn’t do physical therapy or any other treatment. He said that it would be useless to examine me. He is by far the worst doctor that I’ve ever seen.

I’ve seen Dr Kirschenbaum several times for severe back pain. He is extraordinary, easy to talk to, very reassuring, has a fantastic bedside manner, I would wholeheartedly but your trust (and your pain management) in this man’s hands. FIVE STARS

great dr. right to the point no frills. cortisone shot he suggested gave me pain relief i have not had in years. very highly recommend for back and leg pain relief

I was seen at the end of the day after going to their walk in 1 week earlier. It's a large cold looking office, no staff, unused space, empty desk, bare walls, lifeless. Staff was not friendly, the receptionist "tsked" when she had to get out of her chair to help with the kiosk. The nurse rolled her eyes and said "I guess so" when asked if my husband could come in. The exam room door was NEVER closed. The doctor came in, read his colleagues note and questioned me why a certain test was order. He shouted to his staff through the open door for all to see and hear. One test was cancelled and another test ordered. This is where the confusion started. I called daily for 4 days, speaking to a different person every time, test wasn't ordered, MD wasn't in office, test was cancelled and finally, "why don't you go to the hospital". I have no faith in this practice and question the safety of my health. As a retired health professional I do not recommend this office.

I wish I had taken the time to read these reviews if I had I wouldn't of wasted my time. The one star reviews where better than what this fraud of a doctor deserved. I could go on and on with legitimate reasons not to see him just read the negative reviews and imagine it being 10 times worse and I feel that's being kind. DO YOURSELF FAVOR AND DON'T SEE HIM THERE ARE OTHER DOCTORS OUT THERE THAT WOULDN'T HAVE TO EVEN TRY AND DO BETTER JOB!!!!

The Worst. Gave me a injection in my back. I had the worst pain. They stopped and gave me novacain. They continued still with So much pain. Said to me "stay still damit" The nurse had to hold me down. He was giving me a injection to ease my scatica...I never had a problem with my sciatica just with disc 3-4. After novacain wore off I left and never will see him again. Took my self off pain meds and now I see a real Doctor.

Complete lack of empathy and people skills. Never met a doctor so dry and rude. Left his office feeling like I wasted my time and money. When asked about side effects and risks of a procedure, I was told "you can look that up" If that's the case, why am I wasting my time coming to see you? This man is clearly jaded and is all about getting in and out. I will not be returning nor would I ever recommend him.

Dr Kirschenbaum and his team are THE BEST! I have been with then for 15 years and have had multiple procedures/surgeries with success! Would never think of going anywhere else!
