Dr. Moss was caring and professional. He listened and paid attention to what I was telling him. His demeanor made me completely comfortable. I am so happy I chose to make an appointment to see him!
5 years ago today, Dr. Miss reconstructed my cervical spine from C3 to T2. I remember him not just on the anniversary date of my surgery, but every day. I’m still in awe of what he and his team managed to do for me. I will be forever grateful to him. I consider what he did for me as miraculous. Thank you.
Great surgeon and a pleasant caring staff, I went to seek multiple decisions after 10 years of VA misdiagnoses and I'm glad I chose Dr. Moss to correct my issues! If you want a skilled professional I suggest Dr Moss.
Long story short..Dr.moss rebuild my 64yr old mother spin.. It was a total success ..2 day surgey. AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT... The hospital was amazing... Very clean.. very polite staff.. No one was Ever Rude to us like other reviews say bs.... This is a amazing hospital and Dr .. i would Highly recommend to anyone
Lovely, caring bedside manner. My sister in law had a great surgical result after very complicated surgery. Would highly recommend.
This man and his pa were rude and condescending during my two appointments. I saw him for chronic neck pain, when I described what I was experiencing and which doctor had recommended seeing dr moss , he proceeded to insult the recommending doctor and me. He may be well know for his knowledge, but this man is not a good doctor. Do yourself a favor and find someone who actually cares about his patients.
my friend is named after him
Dr Moss allowed be to golf again pain free. Had surgery at UConn, walked out of the hospital feeling great. After two years of suffering he made my life whole again. Thank you
Dr. moss performed not one but 3 back surgeries on in a four yr period. He gave me a second chance at life after I was in an accident. Dr moss has a great bedside manner which is very important to me. He gets to know each and everyone of his patients his staff never treated me as a number. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a talented trained and educated Doctor. Thank you Dr. Moss for all youve done.
Dr. Moss did a fine job fixing my spine! The following comments have more to do with the hospital and their policies than Dr. Moss I would think! The PreOp/PostOp instructions should have been given to me as soon as surgery was implicated. I could have prepared myself better than I did. I could have prepared my supplement list so there wouldn’t be any problems. I could have done a little better for my home environment too. My room temp was too low (74) even though I mentioned I live in an 80 degree environment, as much as possible. The day I left I almost got sick!!! Some nurses were snotty or abrupt like they didn’t have time! My Vitamin, Mineral, Herb supplements were taken away and I couldn’t take my B Vitamins for my CTS because they weren’t in their original bottles!!! I was concerned for my Carpal Tunnel problem since I take Vitamin therapy daily all day, every day. The other concerns about circulation boosters were new to me and I am glad they had my best interests in mind and let me know to stop them!!! Some aides were wearing fragrances, colognes; even though I was asked not too! Nurse gave me a hard time about wearing my shoes and helping me tie the laces when I went for a walk around the hospital. The cafeteria food could be better more protein available at breakfast , less salt and sugar, up to 4 meal times daily instead of the 3!! I eat 4 times daily all the time! My nurses Joanna and Christina were really special. They were very nice, considerate, and pleasant. Joanna spent more time with me being the day nurse; she was always there for me. It was my first hospital stay ever and I had a special time and I thank the staff for all they did!!! I will never forget it and would do it again if the time ever arises!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
