Excellent Neuro-Oncologist I highly recommend Dr. Becker and his team. Dr. Becker is an accomplished neuro-oncologist and has an excellent team of APRNs, RNs, and medical assistants to support the practice. The ability to have a brain MRI and then have Dr. Becker deliver results live a few hours later makes ongoing surveillance much easier. I trust Dr. Becker and the team with my life.
A Thorough Dr After reading reviews I was a bit skeptical. However, I had a wonderful visit from start to finish. Check in, nurses and dr were kind and knowledgeable. Absolutely love Dr Becker. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, really personable and went over everything. He will now be one of my favorites! I’m blessed!
Dr. Becker is wonderful in every way. His expertise and compassion is nothing short of amazing. We would give him and his staff more stars if possible!
Adhesive Arachnoiditis was in profile I didn’t see him because when I called his office, the receptionist said: “UCONN does NOT treat adhesive arachnoiditis. I said: So UCONN is aware of it but they won’t treat it?” YES. Thanks for saying so. I was wonder why my spine center appointment, nobody spoke when I said I was diagnosed with it following a spinal fusion in 2016 & 2017. NOBODY in Connecticut knows of, nor do they even acknowledge Adhesive Arachnoiditis. They give it out through “off label,” ESI. They should just say it to your face. I find out from a receptionist.
I was referred to this dr by another dr and when I called for an appointment the woman answering the phone was VERY rude and very ANNOYED that I had called. She wanted to know WHO GAVE YOU THIS NUMBER. I don't have an opinion of this dr because his bulldog of a receptionist or whomever she was just hung up on me and I never got to see the dr.
Very rude. He believes, "only football players suffer long term effects of multiple concussions". He couldn't tell me why my symptoms exist or what brought them on but he was more then happy to tell me to get a neurpsych evaluation as that would prove I am lying when actually it validated my concerns. His condescending demeanor is not what I expected from a medical doctor especially one in the field of neurology.
Excellent physician and compassionate. I owe him my life. Will truly be missed at Yale Oncology Clinic.
Dr. Becker was so knowledgeable and helpful. After being told I had migraines with no symptoms, Dr. Becker diagnosed my issue an inner ear problem. Thank you Dr. Becker
Excellent, personable, straightforward and smart He is a wonderful doctor and person
Arrogant and rude at the bedside. Unable to coordinate care efficiently in the hospital and unwilling to communicate. The stereotype of an MD.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
