Had cysts on both eyelids removed, used local and waited at least 10 minutes before starting. Kept asking if I could feel anything and I didn't. Also removed a growth under one of my eyes and stitched it no problem. Overall the worst part about the experience was the wait. One of the reviews below had me sweatin' but I had a good experience.

Dr. Gingold is an exceptionally capable and caring ophthalmologist. He successfully treated my chronic eye condition with lasting results, which greatly improved my quality of life.

Many years ago I visited him for a cyst on my eyelid...I had it for a few years. He said lets remove it today....and he did and I was amazed at how easy and fast it was done. Dr. Gingold didn't make me come back for an another costly appointment. He did it right there and had it sent to a lab. Gave me some ointment and I was out of his office in a half hour. Very professional. Highly recommend him.

My son needed plastic surgery amongst other intricate work. Dr. Gingold was gentle when he was a child and has remained his Dr (over 20 years) to this day even for a routine exam. Can not give Dr. Gingold enough stars for how amazing he truly is.

I had surgery and was very well informed about the procedure...The procedure went beautifully...Reovery was good. In addition, Dr Gingold showed compassion to me. So between his excellent expertise and the way I was treated with my two visits and in the hospital, I would recommend ...The Nurses at the Hospital said he was the best.

?Negative. He did a minor incision to remove a chalazion. Four days later I was transported to ER by ambulance, kept overnight, needing cauterization. He offered no pain preparation. It was extremely painful. No pain help after. Denied I would have pain. Two days later, this is true, he ripped off the bandage, also very painful. It was, needless to say, traumatic. I share this for the safety of others. Some doctors are just in it for the procedures.

I had some small cysts removed on my upper right eyelid and below my left eyelid. It stung like hell. Dr. Gingold thought it wasn't necessary to give me a local to numb the areas. After my reaction he gave me a local and didn't wait even 30 seconds for it to kick in. He just continued to remove the cysts and wondered why the local wasn't working. He was in such a hurry he didn't wait for the local to work. That's why it wasn't working. I would rate him a (D).
