@JJ P-Agreed. I know who you are talking about re: Bonnie. I have visual voice-mail and it shows up as "Bonnie," BUT I think her actual name might be Vahni (sp?). But Do NOT quote me on that. Either way, I have very similar thoughts and opinions about her. She's just awful. And like a lot of healthcare "providers" and general staff nowadays...she wont admit any wrong doing and will not take ownership/responsibility for any actions on her part that have directly "gone south" for the patient. And NOBODY in healthcare wants to go near ANYTHING that has ANY chance(s) of resulting in anything negative for a patient. Heck it was only 3 months after having a hysterectomy and both ovaries out and I was put on a HRT patch that was desperately in need of tweaking and my negligent doctor there just skipped town on the day I had an important appointment for. Well....important for Me anyways. I had been waiting over 4 weeks for it! So when she left me high and dry, they had the nerve to tell me she is booking out 3 MORE weeks and when would be a good day and time to reschedule. I was only partially surprised because this is no longer uncommon behavior. It's actually pretty much the norm now. And no one is even apologetic about it. They do these negligent, incompetent things to patients and nowhere in there exists any sort of apathy. Its nuts. Anyways.....before I changed providers, I managed to get them to get me an appointment a couple days later with an on-call type of doctor. She initially did the right thing for me and my issues that even my cat would know to do. She decided to change/titrate up the dosage for ESTROGEN. Not Vicoden. Not Oxycontin. An ESTROGEN patch! So here I am waiting for the text from my pharmacy stating it was ready for pickup, and an hour goes by and haven't heard a thing. That is highly unusual for my pharmacy. So I called the on-call and asked what was up and she said she decided not to increase the dosage because she was nervous I would develop a bloodclot and die. She said she couldn't live with herself if that happened so I was to just wait until I could see my PCP. I was like....is this happening? So I asked her how come no one informed me of this and I was left twisting in the wind and she did exactly what they all do....she blamed it on a different staff member for not calling me and telling me. That situation has way more details, but I'm just going to leave it at that. My point is.....NO one in healthcare wants to "touch" anything and be on the hook for anything that could result in anything bad for anyone. Especially a patient. So the patient is left suffering with no help, no treatment, and nowhere to go. And they absolutely will do their best to pass you off on literally anyone else if you have anything more than an splinter that needs to be plucked out. Oh... but let me clarify. If you are a diabetic and have a splinter....they will pass you off on someone else bc of the potential for complications. I'm so sorry for your experience(s) there, but know that you are far from being alone with that. Your review has helped me and most likely other people who are looking into finding a great endocrinologist. Or even a good one. Or....well....whatever.

Although she tested and found out through blood work I have graves disease that is the only good thing I can say. Since removal of my thyroid expect her to just go by numbers in blood work and less on how you feel and any weight gain will be dismissed. No T3 or reverse T3 conversion will be done by luthras office. If you eat right,exercise, take med as prescribed and your levels "appear" normal you are considered "cured"."Cured" but with ALL symptoms of hypothyroidism and eye disease. Her nurse Bonnie is rude and unprofessional.I do credit luthra with trying to reverse my HYPER numbers. Finding it was due to GD. Other than that...find an endo who listens to you as an individual, NOT a lab number.

Dr. Luthra is very compassionate, attentive, and personable. In other words she is great.

she a good dr. with testasterone she treats me very good as a patient. i know i want putting the anchro gel on, i was feeling sick of something else, now i putting it on.

Sent me an alarning letter concerning my medical condition. At office visit she apologized for sending me the letter that belonged to someone else.Spends 2 or less minutes with you, does not answer your concerns and why I came at all is my problem. After several appointments enough is enough. A poorevaluation from me.

Dr. Luthra has bee caring for me for three years. Her care has been excellent.
