To put this simply this man should not be practicing anymore. Bedside manner is non existent, he is rude, has zero empathy towards patients. Quick story, he was not going to allow a family member of a patient to be allowed in the room when he was doing a procedure. The family members refused as they were worried about the patients well being. He continued to prep the incorrect eye for an injection and only realized when the family member (whom he did not want to be in the room in the first place) had to intervene and tell this “doctor” it was the incorrect eye. Simply unacceptable at any level.

Dr. Thomas Ward is an exceptional Ophthalmologist. He is intelligent, well educated in his field, compassionate, professional, and gives you the time you need to discuss your issues. I trust him with my eyesight, with which I have a variety of problems. I truly believe, if not for Dr. Ward’s care and expertise, that I would not have the vision I am so grateful to have. He is well versed on current treatments and approaches to medical issues. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Ward as an ophthalmologist.

Dr. Ward conducted a thorough examination and interpreted his findings in such a way that I could understand the problem I suddenly began having in my eye. I had ample opportunity to ask any questions. He clearly explained what the next steps will be. I have complete confidence in his ability to manage my eye care.
