I'm pleased my grandma is finally taking care of at UConn. Great doctors
The pulmonary dept. Is excellent got my asthma under control .
Worst place. Negligence with everything.
ridiculous with scheduling of appointments. Cancelled twice already...sent a letter (no call) moving up another appt (cancelling the 3rd), giving me a few business days to move everything personal, then cancelled that one an hour before I left my house. They said they would call back to reschedule but of course did not. Non apologetic...just their business I guess. Changing doctors since I'm sick...terrible shame for a pulmonary medical facility.
Kim Gervais is AWESOME. Knows what she is talking about, makes SURE that I am good with my CPAP and supplies. Goes over everything with me. I was a MESS until I went to UCONN Pulmonary. I was tired ALL the time, felt horrible. She called for a sleep study and found I had apnea. All is good with my world now.
Worst place ever no respect for proper pronounsDr burki did nothing for me about my shortness of breath and suggested that it's in my head like get realWtf and your mechines are literally taped togetherWorst place to go for breathing problems everIf you have a pulmonary problem I definitely would not recommend uconn and dr burkiAlso receptionist is shouts your personal information out like no privacy to my personal informationOverall experience just leave me not to even want to go there for anything but iv had positive experience in other health departments this is 100% a no go to for pulmonary issues!!!!!!!!😡
This place is a joke. I have been here, signed in ready to go for well over an hour. I keep getting excuses on excuses about why I haven't been seen yet. Mind you dozens of people that came in after me have already gone back. Why doesn't UConn do something? What a dump
7. I believe everyone is entitled to a good quality of life including clean water and air, energy availability for home and commerce and a healthy diet. Every nation and its leaders must be accountable that these needs are met. I believe Doctors and Hospitals are responsible of healthy communities and John Dempsey Hospital is doing a great job by investing in advance technologies and research. Ajmal Mehdi
When you wonder why the ER wait is hours long...this picture will answer your question. A Friday afternoon and there is absolutely no one working. One nurse is running around handling everything. Every room full, people are walking around the ER wondering where the doctors and nurses are. Phones are ringing and no one is answering. It's a death trap. This hospital is looking to get sued. Do not go to Uconn for emergencies!!!
The people at admissions need to be better trained or possibly Human Resources needs to do better hiring. It took forever to get admitted and the person admitting us needed help with EVERYTHING.Also not happy about the cafeteria closing at 2:30. However, the actual medical staff at Ear Nose Throat in the outpatient pavilion was wonderful. Every last one of them was friendly, caring and professional. I had some difficult procedures and I'm not sure I would have made it through with a less stellar staff. Very grateful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
