Great Doctors and nurses.
My visits are always great! Wait times are quick and I’m always seen in a timely manner… very good staff! Courteous and pleasant. Definitely worth the drive. I live an hour away!
This place was terrible. They completely ignored my needs and requests after surgery, one of the nurses tripped and fell on top of me on top of the hip I just had replaced. I instructed them to send me home they day after surgery yet that evening they sent me to a rehab facility against my wishes. The nurses were cold and unfeeling. This was five years ago. I now find myself in the position of needing my other hip replaced and was told by a local orthopedist that unfortunately I have to go back to Farmington. I only pray there are new people there now.
My doctor dr. Rodner is open and honest person. He's a nice guy.
Everyone there is friendly and nice too.Dr Parrino is a great dr.and he is kind and caring as well.He always takes his time with me and doesn’t rush me if I have questions. His office staff is great and his scheduler is wonderful too.Dr Parrino bedside manner is good.He is cool 😎 too.
I had a 3rd rotator cuff repair here and I was pleasantly impressed by my whole group of medical caregivers. Dr. Mazzocca was recommended as the only doc in the area that could handle my kind of tear and how it failed twice previously. His bedside manner is superb I wish every doc was as cool.
I saw Tara Mahon for knee swelling. She lacked compassion and professionalism. She was rude, snappy and didn't seem to want to hear what I had to say. She dismissed my concerns about having another set of xrays (that i told her i had a month ago,and could provide a copy of) from another doctor. She didn't address my concerns about the unnecessary exposure to xray, and made me feel stupid for even asking questions. I have been suffering with a knee issue for the last 50 days and was not happy about seeing a provider who was unwilling to listen to me.0/10 would not suggest seeing her. It is unfortunate, because when i think of Uconn, i think of compassionate, understanding and patient providers.. this left a sour taste in my mouth for sure.
Very nice office: new building, light interior colors, some art. Efficient, caring and pleasant staff. Everything went well: check in, vitals, X-rays, seeing Dr. Parrino. In and out within 1 hour. Wow, that's the place to be if you have to visit an orthopedic office👍
I had knee surgery at this center (Dr. Arciero) the facility was clean, modern, but most important, the care was top notch. I highly recommend UCONN Muscoleskeletal institute.
I went in for surgery today and I just wanted to say that everyone who assisted me was absolutely fabulous! My surgeon Dr. Edgar, and all of the nurses including Becky and Michelle among others, and my wonderful anesthesiologist Dr. Patel, who was so thorough and helpful. Everything went so smoothly and they did a great job. I was so very happy! If you are ever in need of surgery, I highly recommend UConn health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
