John Rodgers's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rodgers is a very caring doctor. To busy to really treat the amount of patients he is seeing. Most of his staff are rude and it can take up to 2 hours or more to be seen. This is constant on the wait times. They try to turn it around on the patient for not being more conducive to his over booked busy practice. I would like to see if anyone that works in his office would tolerate constant two hour waits for their scheduled appointments. Like I said if it wasn't for the type of Dr. that he is, I would not continue with this type of nonsense.

Math just doesn’t work when trying to add up the amount of patients in a day. No matter what time of day one is scheduled, you find, by speaking with other patients, that they, too, were scheduled for the same time. As many as three other patients were scheduled for the same time as I was. If that happens every 15 minutes, as patients are scheduled, I think that makes 16 patients an hour times how ever many hours he has to work to finish up for the day—-well, you do the math, I’m tired. It may not be every 15 minutes, I have no real way of knowing that yet, but on one occasion I waited two hours and most of the others, 50 minutes to an hour. As for the doctor, he’s great. Beautiful bedside manner, asks for symptoms, puts one on proper breathing apparatus but if that happens and one loses him for how ever long it takes, one may not see him again until three patients later. After all, he has a lot of patients. Not his fault. Maybe if more attention was put on an appropriate time for patients and less time on how many they can squeeze in the waiting room in hour, they would not only have healthy patients, but delighted ones as well—willing to recommend others to the wonderful doctor who is stretching himself way too thin. The big business of medicine, so sad.

Dr. Rodgers and his staff in both offices are the best in treatment of patients. We don't have a long wait time and staff is very attentive and helpful. Dr. Rodgers is very knowledgeable and caring. A 5 star or better for him and staff. Michael and Bonnie Deyo

He is always changing my medicine so I have to keep going back every few months. My last three visits I had to wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment time. His nurse makes personal calls to plan her evening while patients are left waiting in the room. Messages aren't returned. I'm looking for a new doctor.

Doctor Rodgers has my doctor for 20yrs...I hope I die before he does.He can't be replaced.

Dr. Rodgers has a great personality and spends quality time with the patient, engaging in issues, concerns and medical procedures amicably, mutually and honestly. He has respect for his patients, a phenomenal bedside manner and makes good sense both medically and personally. Unfortunately, he often runs far, far behind. Call first to see how he is running, or you could wait an hour or more. But, that indicates he does not rush his patients through as a number; he treats each patient as they need to be treated. Neither he nor his office do follow up calls to see how patient is doing. I wish this were different, because it is not easy to get in to see him...so if an issue arises, you will wait at least 2 weeks. He will, eventually return your call, but it will be after hours, and he'll direct you to call the office in the morning to schedule an appointment, which will be in 2 weeks or more. The office phone is constantly busy, and they turn off the phones at least 15 minutes before they close for lunch, and at least 15 minutes after lunch is over.
