Demetris Delos's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Delos repaired a fractured left clavicle (broken collarbone) in January 2022. The surgery went well with no issues. I received excellent treatment from Dr. Delos and all of his nurses. He was incredibly knowledgeable and broke the procedures down in simple turns that an accounting guy like myself understood (having barely skated by in those science classes in college lol). The follow up appointments all were great and I was very impressed with how quickly I was in a room and saw the nurse then doctor. Unlike multiple other doctor offices I have been to in the past, I felt like I waited a total of a few minutes at ONS. I would strongly encourage any of my family or loved ones to go to ONS and see Dr. Delos if they have any major injury. Overall, the whole experience was a 5 Star.

I had complex fractures with soft tissue injuries in my left leg from a skiing accident. Dr. Delos did a fantastic job putting all of the pieces back together and I am healing well. Hands down a talented surgeon, but even a better person. Dr. Delos is kind, relatable, compassionate and takes the time to listen and answer all questions and concerns. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care.

I had a total knee replacement performed by Dr. Delos 5 weeks ago. I have been a patient of his for about 3 years. I needed a knee replacement for a long time, I couldn’t do it because of family care taking commitments. Dr. Delos takes time with you, (he makes you feel like family) never rushes you out of his office and explains every option you have. At first he did the injections, cortisone, then gel. that held me over to due the needed surgery.Dr. Delos performed my surgery at ASC in Stamford, They were also very caring with me. My surgery went as planned, I was walking with a walker right after the surgery, had a cane for about 2 weeks. Then was walking without a cane, and no pain. My scar looks great! 5 weeks now, walked 3/4 mile and feel great! I can’t say enough about Dr. Delos and his staff, they are top notch and would recommend him to everyone.For people having total knee replacement surgery, I would recommend getting physical therapy BEFORE the surgery. I started with PT 2 months before my surgery and think it made my recovery that much faster. (of course PT after surgery too) 5 weeks now and I have full motion of my knee, and I didn’t take any of those drugs for pain. ( I didn’t need them, I had no pain) I would also recommend the Breg ice machine, worked great for swelling

I have neen a patient of Dr Delos for several years. Among other things he did a partialreplacement of my right knee in 2016 as a result of a ski injury. It was and still is in great condition.

Dr. Delos and his team are outstanding. Had shoulder replacement surgery 9/28/21. The procedure was smooth and essentially pain free. Within days had good mobility and within weeks on the ONS PT program. Four months later, full workout schedule (albeit lighter resistance) and played a round of golf 1/29/22 with full mobility. I am so pleased with the outcome and cannot recommend more highly.

I first started treatment with Dr. Delos at ONS for knee pain in my right knee which was making any from of cardio activity and some every day tasks very difficult. After x-rays, cortisone shots and an MRI turned out I had torn my meniscus. Dr. Delos explained all the options thoroughly and I decided that arthroscopic meniscus repair would be the best course of treatment for me. I was scheduled for surgery and after 5 weeks of PT I was back to jogging! Several months later I experienced the same issue in my left knee and I received the same high level of treatment from Dr. Delos. I am currently 2 weeks post op, doing PT and feeling better already! I am always so impressed with the fact that as big of a group ONS is I always feel the care by the entire staff if very personal. Their PT department is fantastic as well! I hope this is the last of my ortho injuries but if it’s not I know I have the BEST doc to go to for treatment. Thank you Dr. Delos!!!

I had knee surgery with Dr. Delos of ONS. Everything was great. The surgery was fantastic. I was treated by everyone like I was the most important person in the office every time I went to the office.I was in tremendous pain before the surgery but I had absolutely no pain right after the surgery.The staff at Dr. Delos's office are great. They are kind, courteous and professional. I would recommend for anybody who has an issue that requires an orthopedic TO GO TO DOCTOR DELOS.I also had a great experience with ONS Physical Therapy in Harrison, NY. Jenn was my therapist and she was great. Everyone who works in the ONS Therapy Facility in Harrison is great. The whole atmosphere is always positive. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS PHYSICAL THERAPY TO REQUEST JENN.I cannot say enough of how grateful I am to everyone at ONS - especially Dr. Delos and Jenn. I sincerely want to thank everyone who helped me at ONS - all of you have made my life better. THANK YOU ALL.

I WANT THANKS so much to Dr Delos for the excellent work he did to me.when I walk to is office I could not walk .Is opinion was a total knee replacement. THAT was a best decision I did in my life the surgery in both knees was successful I'm feel a new man I'm doing the normal life without pain was a miracle for me Dr Delos is a excellent Dr and as a person I thank him again

ONS does it right! I had my ACL replaced years ago by Dr. Delos and had a wonderful experience from end to end- so when I fell and injured my knee I couldn’t think of anywhere else. I called to make an appointment and one was available right away, ( and I actually spoke to a person). The system they have in place is very efficient because after checking in I only waited about 3 minutes! It’s so annoying going to a doctors appointment and waiting 30+ minutes after your appointment time. It wasn’t just me either I could see the people just before me were getting called in as well. I needed an X-Ray and I didn’t even have to wait, I went right in and got it done immediately, and as a new parent my time is very valuable so this is just amazing.Dr.Delos is such a fantastic doctor. In an age of computer charting sometimes it’s hard to even get eye contact as a doctor is typing away. Dr. Delos is warm, personable, patient, skillful, knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer all of your questions and concerns without ever making you feel rushed. He always uses terms I can understand while explaining things, and will always repeat if I need to just hear something again. When it comes to an injury you are often so distracted and worried that’s it can be hard to focus on what the Doctor is saying.I always recommend him because I feel like he is the “real deal” when you think of what a doctor should be. I feel safe and confident in his care.
