List of Gary Solomon's Reviews
Dr. Solomon is a skilled physician with broad knowledge who always listened and had solutions for various painful episodes. He made me smile and that goes a long way.
Dr. Solomon helped me to overcome recurrent headaches. I first saw him about three years ago. He was sympathetic to and understanding of my problem; i got the sense that he was genuinely concerned. His prescribed course of treatment worked, and the results continue to this day. The headaches have become infrequent as well as far less painful when they do occur. I recommend Dr. Solomon wholeheartedly.
Dr. Solomon helped me to overcome frequent and painful headaches. He was sympathetic to and understanding of my problem, and seemed genuinely concerned about my progress in treatment. Dont waste your time with this doctor.
Dr Solomon, was my QB in overcoming a major auto accident. He put me in touch with specialists that helped me overcome the physical and mental issues I was dealing with post - accident. I have complete trust in Dr Solomon he puts his patients well-being first and foremost.
I should start that I just do not get the value of a physiatrist. This Dr. did minimal examination. He dismissed my symptoms and interested in what was convenient for him. He is not interested in what is wrong. Total my experience, but I do not think he is dismissive of women and pains. I also realize he relies on Norwalk Hospital services to fill in his weaknesses. He wanted PT at Norwalk Hosp. But they never returned calls. He said it was better for him because he could talk to them. He want other services done at Norwalk because it was more convenient for him. I think he does not know what he is doing and leans on professionals at the hospital to fill his lack of knowledge. I went to an orthopedic surgeon that I later found, who identify a dislocation, which could easily be seen if Solomon had actually dome a proper examination.
Waste of time. Impossible to get through to the office. Solomon has limited knowledge and seems to use Norwalk Hospital to prop himself up. Did not do much of an evaluation. Maybe I don't get what the point is of physiatrists. I had a better evaluation done by a well trained chiropractor who immediately identified a disclocation, adjusted it and got me standing again in a few days. Solomon was drugs and shots. Waste of time.
Does not listen well to his patients. His office staff is the least helpful I have encountered
Dr. Solomon is the most thorough and caring doctor I have ever had. He is also widely known in the NY metro area to be one of the best in his field. Recommend him highly.
i couldn't disagree more with the previous review. I have been a patient for nearly ten years and have always found Dr. Solomon to be one of the most thorough and caring doctors I have ever known. He tries as many solutions as a patient is willing to engage in, but is also pragmatic when it comes to relieving pain. He is also excellent at consistently fast follow-up. Highly recommended for joint pain and osteoporosis-related issues.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
