Kevin Choo's Online Review Report Card

I had an anterior total hip replacement on my right side on May 4, 2022. I had the option of a one night stay at Greenwich Hospital or Outpatient surgery at the Stamford Surgical Center. After two consultations and visits with Dr Choo I choose the Outpatient option. Dr Choo answered all of my questions and gave me a very comprehensive understanding of the entire process including the anesthesia, surgery, and recovery process. The entire process from Pre to Post Operative recovery and Physical Therapy went perfect. I had a rapid recovery because of the surgical skills of this fantastic doctor. A compassionate and highly competent surgeon who is one of the finest Doctors you could have for hip replacement. Everyone on the ONS team is fully vested in making sure you have a good recovery and outcome. I was riding my bike 4 1/2 weeks after surgery. Dr Choo and his team are the best. It was a life changing positive outcome for me!

Dr. Choo let me know exactly what was going to happen and he right! Can't believe my recovery as I had the left knee done 12 years ago. Great difference and my follow-up visit he showed me the before and after. I am so happy that Dr. Choo did my surgery. He is very calming and correct to what he has to say. Thank you Dr. Choo.

Dr. Choo performed a full hip replacement surgery on me in October 2021. Three months later I feel very well and am back on the tennis court. Dr. Choo was a model surgeon who communicated thoroughly with my wife and me. He is a good listener and he always showed concern.

I would and do recommend Dr. Choo. He is an amazing surgeon. He takes time to explain the procedure and answer any questions. He gives one confidence and assurance. He visited twice in the hospital after surgery. His follow up office visits are comforting and encouraging. I highly recommend Dr. Choo. I consider myself very lucky that Dr. Choo was my surgeon.

Let me say that Dr. Choo is incredible and deserves more than a 5-star rating! He is not only an outstanding surgeon, but also has a genuine talent for putting his patients at ease by being a great listener and acknowledging all the trepidations one may have prior to having surgery. I am 74, and I have had surgery in Stamford, but I would only go to Dr. Choo again and Greenwich Hospital since the care outweighed my previous experience. Thank you!

Dr. Choo exemplifies how a doctor should treat their patients. When my mom went to see him, she was in unbearable pain and could barely walk. Dr. Choo was so kind and understanding. He spent time explaining to her what could be done to help her. He also called me to see if I had any questions. After my mother’s total hip replacement, she is now walking again. Dr. Choo also called me after the surgery to see how my mother was progressing. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Choo.

I am 58 F that went to see Dr Kevin Choo with bilateral knees bone on bone. One worse that the other. When I went for my appointment at the ONS clinic in Greenwich. It was the first time I met Dr K Choo. He was so carrying knowledgeable. Explain everything to me involve me in my care and listen to my concerns. Tear came to my eyes because at that moment I knew he was the one that was going to take care of my knees. He was the perfect fit. I bean fight to have my knees done for the pass 6 years. I try yo avoid it. Because I was afraid and didn’t feel comfortable with the other doctor that I was going to and didn’t even know my name and I allow them to treat me with injections that was no longer help me. I had bilateral knee replacement two month apart Dr Choo gave me new knees and with my hard work for the pass six month we both contribute to a successful outcome. It’s hard work but In the long run it’s all Worth it Thank you Dr Choo and team Yes I recommend family and frien
