I don't know what's been going on with CHC patient portal. I can't get on the patient protal app known as HEALOW. So looks like CHC has to get a hold of me via phone and email.

Where do I even begin with this place? I brought my 3 year old in for a routine physical, where she proceeded to be sick for over a mo th after. Numerous phone calls to this useless practice and it's doctors and they refused to see her. (Yes she was tested for covid and it was negative). Now add on Numerous ER visits where my child was pinned down to have blood drawn and still they refuse to see her. Finally take her to Backus and they figure out what was going g on. Fast forward to me bring my 12 year old child in. Where his doctor refused to use the correct pronouns and ignore literally every single concern we had in regards to his hearing and the amount he sweats. Yet had no issues spending 20 minutes trying g to force us to get my 12 year old covid vaccinated. My 12 year old is currently doing his own research on it and talking to his peers about their reactions to the vaccine. OH and let's not forgot how said doctor very rudely and cruelly suggest intense therapy for my child for being trans. The only thing that stopped me from full out cussing this doctor out was my children being there. My child has since bee. Completely shut down and depressed, because a "medical professional " completely ignored his voice and concerns. I would definitely seek another practice for your family.

Doctors are often over an hour late for in person and virtual visits. Then are unprepared for the appointment itself. Avoid at all costs. They do not value you, your family, or your time.

I would NEVER give groton CHC a one star but today was the worst experience I've ever had!! Myself and my infant had appointments back to back. We were assured that wouldn't be a problem. He had his physical and shots due. while I was getting checked for what could be skin cancer since I couldnt be seen by any dermatologist. The NEW (first name Susan) doctor came in rudely saying she couldnt see me because I had all my children with me. (3 boys ) sitting in the chair quietly on my phone and my infant/toddler also quiet. I always get compliments on how well they are behaved. But she scolded me as if we were a hassle and told me I should have had a baby sitter because it was simply to much for her. I tried to explain that I had one but they all had hand foot mouth going around so I had no other choice but to bring them. She said that she had 5 children as well and she would never! So not only being scolded with her rude remarks and eye rolls, she just abruptly told me both appointments were cancled and left the room. I was so shocked and uspet by how rude and UNPROFESSIONAL she was for discriminating against us. I will NEVER go back to groton CHC. Patricia was the best pediatrician my children had and wish she never left. Other than the new Dr I have had NO ISSUES with groton CHC . We will be going to New London CHC for now on.So if you have more than TWO children dont even bother going to be seen. You won't be welcomed!

Tires of doctors who hate their jobs. It's not my fault that you work at CHC, don't have to be so bitter about it.

This is a horrible place to go if you want to be seen by a physician who takes time to understand you, your symptoms, and will then provide you with a suitable treatment plan including appropriate referrals and meaningful follow up options. I decline to go into too much detail given the nature of the enterprise, but all of my dozen or so interactions with multiple medical practitioners (using the term loosely, here; also they go through quite a few of them) have been unproductive and completely frustrating, actually worsening the problem(s) in more than a few instances. This and the New London location have been consistently terrible. One star seems generous. I know it's difficult finding even adequate care with bottom rung insurance, but this is just ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and endure any necessary inconvenience to go elsewhere; you want help, and you won't find it here.
