List of Physicianone Urgent Care Groton's Reviews
I was misled as to what was wrong with me. Two visits got me no closer to a diagnosis. Out of frustration went to a different doctor and was immediately diagnosed with what I thought was wrong with me and got proper treatment.
Long wait but very much worth it. Very nice people took good care of my ears.
Nice office and staff .. made an appt and had minimal wait time. Dr. was ok.. felt rushed but that’s the nature of urgent care . On to the next … overall, I’d recommend this office.
Making the appointment online was easy, and the wait time at the facility wasn’t bad. The nurse and doctor were great. The problem was that the doctor said the sample taken would be sent out for a culture to determine if I was given the correct antibiotic. When I didn’t hear back after 5 days I called, and I was told that the test was never ordered. She then said the doctor would call me back, but that never happened. Disappointing lack of follow-up.
The staff at Physician One Urgent Care in Groton are awesome! They actually made my visit for a bad case of poison ivy pleasant.
Very sweet people working there and the place was clean. I’ve been to other clinics around Groton and some are musty lol but I liked this one 👍
Quick, efficient care. Helpful while on our family vacation.
There wasn't a wait. And the staff was great 😃
I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I got invited by text to leave one. Here it is: I went in for a private pay encounter to refill a routine, non-controlled medication. On the date of this encounter, the staff and NP were friendly and professional. However, nobody told me until I sat down with the provider and after I had paid for the encounter that their policy had changed and they could only provide me a three-day supply of medicine. This policy change should have been brought up when I called and when I came in and said on both occasions what I intended to do with that visit. I had to go to a separate clinic later in the day to get my 30-day supply of medicine with refills. Being educated on the policy change at PhysicianOne and three days of medicine cost me $130 out of pocket. That was a lot to pay for a three-day supply. I understand why the policy changed, as PhysicianOne is moving further away from a primary care model. However it is evident that there is a breakdown in management’s notification of patients via the front desk on a significant policy change. For those with insurance covering the appointment, it is less wasteful, as it costs them an hour only. For anyone who pays out of pocket, it is unjust to find out from the provider in the room. Regrettably, there is also a perverse incentive not to inform patients of this change.
Awesome staff, comfortable environment, convenient, will be using them again!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
