Liked this MD but had personal issues with another MD in the same practice, so after a while it was time to go elsewhere. I used to be a neighbor of another MD in same practice and that MD was unwilling to let it go and made it difficult for me. A Bully.

I have been going to Guilford Family practice for years. Even when I moved to the Shelton area I sill travel just to see Dr. Mascia. The office is easy to get to. Literally right off the highway. The office is very clean as well as the patient rooms. His office manager Angie is fabulous! She always returns phone messages quickly and makes sure to get you in. Dr. Mascia really is fantastic! He always listens to my concerns, he takes his time, and is very thorough. He is also a very good doctor. He always stays late to squeeze patients in, but never runs late, and never rushes! I am very lucky to have a great MD, he is the best!!!

Always kind, very attentive, and listens to your issues. You are not just another number in the deli line, because Dr.Mascia actually listens and understands the issues you have. He's a very nice man who's a great doctor.

I have known Dr Mascia for 25 years now, and there isn't a doctor I trust more. He is personable, Listens to your symptoms as well as your own suggestions . He makes you part of the decision making process, which is rare. He is compassionate, and truly cares about the patient and their opinion of the particular issues at hand. Follows up with tests results , and over all cares and asks about what is going on in your life as it affects your health.

I've known Dr. Mascia for over 20 years, what I like most about him is it never feels like he's rushing to get to the next client & he's very easy to talk to.

Dr Mascia is a great doctor and doesn't make a big deal out of everything like my wife does. Straightforward and to the point. Actually my wife wants him too but he doesn't take new patients anymore. She figures no matter how good he is one has to die every now and then and she should be able to fill the spot.
