List of Ayra Sayyed's Reviews
Dr. Padula and his staff are some of the most knowledgeable, kind, sincere, and patient professionals anyone could meet. Their influence on my son's growth and development has been immense. As a mother of a son with special needs, I feel that Dr. Padulla's work with my son has forever changed his path. Once my son got his first pair of glasses prescribed by Dr Padulla, he increased his attempts to communicate and interact with others. Concerns that my son was autistic soon disappeared. Prior to Dr. Padula, getting my son to wear his glasses was a daily battle. Now my son asks for his glasses everyday, and is lost without them. It is true that a visit here can be costly. Most insurances will reimburse you however, or the funds can be set aside in a FSA yearly. I highly recommend a visit to Dr. Padula if you have a child with special needs. The potential he unlocks with his eyewear is priceless.
I arrived at 1412 for a therapy appointment at 1500 a baseline test was done at 1520 told me the doctor would see me soon I went back into the waiting area and waited, a patient that arrived long after me was called back and at 1600 after waiting for two hours I got up and left, very inefficient
Amazing doctor. He is literally the best in his field.
They do great work if you are able to keep affording what they want you to do, if not they can be pushy.
I am a physician/MD who had my son and wife seen at the institute by Dr Padula and his partner after recently moving to the area. They both underwent very expensive testing, not covered or accepted by insurance, and had prescriptions for prism glasses, progressive and bifocals, different than that had been prescribed by other optometrists in the past. The prescriptions for both of them were made and both my wife and son could not tolerate the prescribed glasses after wearing them for a couple of weeks. Dr Padua and his partner were contacted about this without resolution of their inability to wear the prescribed lenses at a combined cost of over 5000$. I am very disappointed with their care and resolution of the issues regarding their inability to wear these prescribed lenses at uninsured costs higher than I've ever seen. I read another one star review who regarded their care as a scam, and unfortunately have to agree. If you are going to charge excessive uninsured fees, then you should get it right for the best interest of the patient at no additional costs! Patient first should be the focus from a place of integrity!!!
He literally saved and changed my life. After a severe concussion my vision was altered and I could no longer use a computer, phone, tv etc and doing almost anyting that included lots of motion (think putting away dishes or laundry) made me incredibly dizzy. He was willing to do what no other eye doctor even thought to do - he created special lenses allowing me to use a computer again and get back to work. All other eye doctors stressed visual therapy which didn't work for me. I still have a long way to go to increase my ability to work to full time, but he is working with me on this and I now am no longer dizzy all the time, can spend time with my friends and family, do chores around the house, visit a restaurant and earn an income. Absolutely life changing.
I've never been to the clinic but have been at a course that he taught. He is a leader in his field and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend any patient with visual issues, learning disabilities, stroke or concussion\tbi to see him.
Dr. Padula's research and work in the field of NVPT has completely changed my practice and the way my associates and I interact with our patients. It has driven me to think well outside the Optometric/Ophthalmological box of conventional training. I am extremely grateful for his contributions in this field.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
