Staff is unresponsive to the patient when I or my husband gave tried to contact this office. Dr Chang appears very friendly, but sometimes appears to have his own agenda. I’m finding a new GI doctor.

For 10 yrs Dr. Chang took care of my routine GI needs (colonoscopy, screening, etc) and found him to be extremely personable. Then I was diagnosed with IBS and found both his practice and himself to be disconnected with me as a patient. Not sure if they are beyond their capacity, but my experience drastically changed for the worse. At times when I needed care the most I found myself chasing lab results and repeatedly calling the office as Dr Chang would not respond to my messages. Overall if you need routine GI care you will probably be fine however if you have a serious GI issue I would look elsewhere.

Dr. Chang is approachable, caring & spends time answering questions, never making you feel rushed. He is empathetic to concerns & addresses questions until the patient understands.

Personally, I found Dr. Chang very pleasant and easy to talk to. He is very thorough in asking questions and examination. However, there is absolutely no follow-up and phone calls are not returned either promptly or at all. I was misdiagnosed from the beginning and prescribed the incorrect medications. There was no discussions of test results and no resolution to my problem. Finally, I was dismissed with having muscle strain when I needed surgery, which he discouraged. Definitely seeking another doctor.

Very inconsiderate office and Dr Chang could care any. I got there 15 min late to my qppt .. After leaving work 30 mints early and fighting through traffic. Waited over and more than a month to see him... so they can cancel my appt and r/s a new one .... they refuse to see me . Very inconsiderate and disregard .... They only give you 10 mint window to get there .. unreasonable with traffic and all ... I requested my records and will not recommend no one goimg there. I don't even know why I bothered. He never called me with my results last time I had a procedure...I had to call and ask... He doesn't care nor does he pay attention to your needs .

My first time here after being referred to by my PCP; I totally had it my long time Gastroenterologist in dealing with my persistent and on going symptoms. I was apprehensive with the change but I have to say I have never been more pleased. Dr. Chang is so personable and knowledgeable in his field of expertise; I never felt more comfortable talking to somebody in the medical profession, it was like I was his patient for many years. After reviewing my medical history, Doctor has developed a plan into resolving my medical issues and and I will follow through along with guidance. Thank you Dr. Chang. 👍👍
