I had an appointment with this doctor to check my abdominal hernia. They couldn't do anything because the equipment was damaged. Even so, they charged me and nevertheless wrote a false report, of things they never did to me. They never checked my abdomen and the report talked about how they checked my abdomen and other things. This place is a joke.

Dr. Bonadies is a wonderful surgeon who I highly recommend to all my family and friends. I had a double hernia repair and he is a highly skilled surgeon with an outstanding bedside manner. The office staff was extremely courteous and the office is clean and Covid precautions were in use. The best all around. Know that you’re in the best of hands 🙌🏻 with him and his staff. Thank you 🙏

I wish Dr. Bonadies can do surgeries of all specialties because he is literally a gift. He has absolute amazing bedside manner...and that really stays with you. He makes you feel comfortable and safe; he’s kind! And, to top it off, he’s super skilled.

What a terrible experience! Scheduled for surgery on 9/20/21. I had some medical and billing questions. I called a week prior to surgery no one answers but received a message that someone would return my call with in 24 hours, No call . I call back a day later and spoke to someone. She couldn't help but said someone would call me back, call never came. Called again next day same thing but I was told by the receptionist not a nurse that the Dr. was sick and were not sure if he would be doing surgery on the 20th. The Hospital called to set up surgery but said I needed a covid test because I might need to spend the night. I was never told about this and no one ever called me to explain why. Finally the day before surgery I received a call from the office saying the surgery was on but needed a covid test. Went to Quest waited an hour when I get in test was never ordered. Quite frankly I am afraid to have a Dr. with such an incompetent staff touch me. I canceled surgery.

the best!!! in the Hamden- New Haven - Meriden - Derby area for hernia repair. caring, honest, very straight forward with your care. never waited more than 10 mins. to see him yet he never rushed me through an appointment either. took the time to answer all of my questions before and after surgery. and his staff was equally as kind and caring.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Bonadies and his staff. Had to be seen for an emergency situation and they were great about getting me in and also for scheduling the follow-up care. Would highly recommend the practice.

Aside from being an expert in the field of hernia repair, he is compassionate and an excellent communicator. His staff is top notch and also very understanding of the fact that surgery is traumatic. I couldn't recommend him more highly. He repaired the damage done by other surgeons.
