A doctor and surgeon not only top in his field, a great human being as well. My elderly family friend needed immediate surgery and he made it happen. He treated her kindly and explained everything clearly at the office, and right before the surgery. Has a way of putting you at ease. I had full confidence in him. And my friend healed brilliantly.

It has been 2 years since my stapled hemorrhoidectomy and not a single complication - everything is "like new" and has held up - I can't even believe how this has changed my life. After dealing with MANY colorectal docs over many years, Dr Aversa is THE MAN.

Diagnosed with colon cancer after first colonoscopy and age 50 in may 2017. Dr Aversa performed resection surgury using the davinci robot on Friday,June 2nd,and I walked out of hospital on the following Monday. A year later, I'm cancer free and I feel that in a large part, if Dr Aversa wasnt the Surgeon,I might not be here today

I would highly recommend Dr. Aversa to anyone that needs a procedure involving a colorectal surgeon. He is extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous about my procedure and Dr. Aversa made me feel at ease.

Dr. Aversa saved my life in August 2017, performing dangerous, emergency colon surgery under less than optimal conditions (Milford Hospital.) I still can't find the words to thank him. He reversed my colostomy 3 weeks ago at Griffin Hospital (awesome place!) This was my first attack of diverticulitis and he spent endless amounts of time explaining every detail to my family and I, I have never met a better doctor. I am living proof that he is an amazing surgeon but he is also an amazing person!!
