I have been a patient of Dr Umashanker for many years and she is one of the most competent caring physicians I have met . She never makes you feel rushed and takes the time to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed. I wish more doctors took the time to care for their patients the way she does. I would highly recommend Dr Umashanker

Dr. Umashanker has been my doctor for almost 10 years now. She’s a great listener and very compassionate. Her assistant Eric is also wonderful and always gets back to me. Because they are a wonderful team, sometimes takes a little longer for a callback or appointment, but a tribute to the above and beyond care they provide, definitely worth the wait.

I love Dr. Umashanker! She's been my doctor for over 15 years now. Have serious GERD, esophagitis, and have had scares over Chrohn's disease. I've had 3 colonoscopies with her and endoscopies, too. She's warm, caring, careful, and smart. She always returns my calls and takes good care of me. She will research things when she needs to-- and this is not something all physicians will do. I recommend her very highly.

Dr Umashanker has been my doctor for almost 25 years. She is an exceptional gastroenterologist and I HIGHLY recommend her. My husband and many family members are now patients also.

my wife Sharon had an appointment today with you at 8:30 am when she arrived there were no parking spaces in handicap available she had to drive and a space the furthest from the building.. as you know you office pretty far from the elevator . By the time she got to you office it was 8:45 she was told could be seen and have to make another appointment . My wife has Parkinson disease and it should have been obvious to the person at the front desk. In order for Sharon to get there she has to get up 5:30 am because that long to get ready. I am extremely disappointed with you and you staff if this how you treat a person with a disability... You people should be ashamed of yourselves.. mark levine

I feel the need to write about this amazing doctor and person. I have had the pleasure of being her patient and have found her to be thorough and diligent with my care. Her interaction with me makes me know that she really cares about me as a patient and a person. She is genuine and kind and has helped me so much with my medical problem. I have recommended her to many of my friends and they to have had positive experiences! Thankfully there are doctors like Dr. Umashanker practicing medicine.

Dr. Umashanker is one of the best GI Docs in the country. I can't believe the things people are saying about her. These people are probably miserable patients who didn't get their way. I have family and friends who come from different states just to see her. If I had a family member really ill, they will see nobody but Dr. Umashanker. She will do anything for her patients!!!!
