Polite, professional staff, and clean office. Dr. Barrak took the time to ensure I had all my questions answered, while showing a genuine interest in getting to know me as a person, in addition to as a patient. I left the office relieved, and I’m very satisfied with the treatment plan. Without reservation, I’d recommend Dr. Barrak to anyone seeking a PCP.

The Bloomfield office staff is the worst staff I have ever dealt with. They were extremely RUDE and actually rolled their eyes at me at the front desk. They filled out an appointment card for me and they wrote 1/7/22, however my actual appointment was on 1/17/22 - their mistake. When I showed up for my appointment on the 7th, the front desk staff never once said "I'm sorry" and kept saying "you should have known you didn't have an appointment today since we didn't call you 2 days ago to remind you". When I told her I was a new patient and didn't know their process, she actually rolled her eyes at me and snickered to her coworker. When I asked her if she just rolled her eyes at me, she repeated that I should have known I didn't have an appointment because I didn't get a reminder call. Her coworker spoke very rudely to me next and said "your appointment is on the 17th and you can go now!" I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PRACTICE AGAIN AND I ADVISE EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME !!

The Bloomfield office for Dr. Bachara Barrak was THE WORST experience I have ever had at a doctors office. The front desk staff was RUDE and obnoxious. I showed up for an appointment on January 7th with my usual smile and upbeat personality. The girl at the front desk had an immediate attitude and did not even great me or say hello. All she said was "we tried to call you, the doctor is not in today". I explained VERY NICELY that I did not get a call from them to cancel my appointment. She never once said "I'm sorry", and instead had another girl look up my account and told me my appointment was for the 17th, and not the 7th (I have the card at home to prove they wrote thr 7th). I was still VERY PLEASANT even though I had just driven an hour to get to this appointment. The rude front desk girl said "you should have known your appointment wasn't today since you didn't get a reminder call from us two days ago". I explained that I was a new patient and didn't know their process of calling 2 days prior to an appointment. She ROLLED HER EYES at me and continued to say I should have known I didn't have an appointment because I didn't get a reminder call. Once she rolled her eyes at me, my nice demeanor was gone and I asked her "did you just roll your eyes at me" and she did it again!!!! I told her how very rude she was and she should never treat a patient like this - EVER ! She kept repeating that I should have known they call 2 days prior to remind you about an appointment, and wouldn't listen to me that I was a new patient and didn't know this process. At this point, another girl chimes in and says "your appointment is on the 17th and you can go now !" I told both of them how rude they were and they should be ashamed of themselves for speaking to a patient like this. I work at a hospital and have never seen this behavior from any of our staff. DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE. They do not deserve your business!

Best Dr. I’ve been going to him for years! Always patient. I’ve never felt rushed. Sits & talks with you. Very thorough. Compassionate, funny. I’ve moved out of state recently & I wish I could transport him here. I will miss him.

I chose Dr Barrak as my PCP several years ago when I moved to Hartford, after "interviewing" at least 10 other doctors that I was not impressed with. I made a great choice. He's not only very knowledgeable, he's also a nice person who will really LISTEN to you and explain things to you. He's not arrogant and dismissive of his patients' concerns, as many doctors are. Best doctor I've ever had.

Dr. Barak is very professional, thorough and his quality of care is excellent. His office management is awesome, as we never have to wait for long periods of time to see the Dr. I have recommended Dr. Barak to friends, and they are very happy with him!!!

Dr Barrak is kind and patient. He listens to my concerns and works with me to provide the best care. Can't imagine going anywhere else for my health care.
