A few months ago I experienced a ruptured Breast implant. Being the spazz that I am, I called multiple doctors to try to get an appointment to fix it. I called & called and no doctor would see me until next year. I was flabbergasted! That is... Until I reach out to Dr. Chu from getting multiple excellent reviews from people. I knew from that visit that it was him that I wanted to perform my surgery. Fast forward one month and my surgery is complete, I'm healed, and I'm ecstatic about my new boobs. I would like to share my experience and hope that it inspires anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery to request more information from the offices of Dr. Chu. It is never an easy decision to have cosmetic surgery. There are so many potential places to research and contact. Also, the thought of a surgical procedure can be daunting for even toughest minded people. My story is that as I got older, I began noticing small changes in my facial appearance. Nothing major, but small changes here and there. These small changes seemed to grow overnight and without warning. It felt like I woke up one day and didn't recognize the woman staring back at me. Who was she and why did she seem so sad? I realized that I was no longer happy with my appearance. My husband would tell me that I was still as beautiful as the day we met, but I couldn't see it and could not feel it. It led to depression as I lost confidence in myself and my appearance. She is part of the intake and scheduling, but she is also assisted in my recovery all while reassuring me that the healing process was moving at just the right pace.Dr. Chu performed a mid-facelift on me. He is a perfectionist who will take as much time as needed to do the job right. I never felt rushed into any decision, and he did not rush through the procedure to get the next patient onto his operating table. He and the staff make you feel like family, and in a way they become your family because they are with you through every moment of fear, every tear of pain as you discuss the personal reasons that led you to want to undergo the surgery as well as the tears of joy when you get to see yourself for the first time and each visit thereafter as the swelling recedes and you see a reflection that restores your confidence in who you are as a person.Two hours after I left from my surgery, Dr. Chu called my husband to check on me and make sure that I was not experiencing anything out of the ordinary. Dr. Chu cares for his patients as if they were his immediate family. You can see the passion that drives him to continue to help people like me find ourselves again.If you are looking to have cosmetic surgery, then I want you to have the best care through the process from start to finish. Chu is the best surgeon on the island - I went to multiple other doctors and did not agree with some of their techniques. I can say that chu and his staff are very safe and knowledgeable. I have been a patient of Dr. Chu for several years now. I have found that he consistently listens to my concerns. He treats me as an individual, and offers suggestions rather than making decisions for me. He explains thoroughly all procedures I undergo. We have a good, detailed discussion about possible side-effects and the plus-minus of undergoing a procedure. Prior to recommending a medication, I receive detailed information about what it is and why I'm taking it. Dr. Chu follows up with me in a timely fashion about test results.
