I went in hesitating my Endoscopy and Colonoscopy in one day! His whole team provided me care, reassurance; comfort. They took care of me as if I was their only patient (although there were a lot others). I asked to go to the bathroom about three times and it didn’t seem like I was bothering them. The Secretary “Adrienne” came and got me when I arrived at 85 Jefferson Street (wrong location). Very professional presentation and atmosphere. I’ve never experienced such “Royalty”. Dr Swoles was excellent. He was there before I went to sleep and when I awoke! I will not hesitate visiting again.

A very close friend of mine with a very long and complicated medical history recently developed a serious issue that landed in Dr Swales lap.After repeated valient efforts the problem went unresolved.My friend was still left with the initial problem but partially resolved with repeated stenting.An additional group effort was needed and promised in hopes of resolving the issue but the ball was dropped by the swales group.The patient/friend has reached out on her own to try and find resolution elsewhere.It is a job undone and continues for the patient

I am shocked to read the two negative reviews as my husband has been seeing Dr. Swales for over 3 years and he has been so kind and informative every visit. He is on top of every test he orders and always provides detail and information we can understand. Please, don't believe those 2 negative reviews, Dr. Wales is a smart wonderful, caring doctor.

When you see the doctor once, he prescribes a test and puts you on meds, and you never hear back!!! Feel like a number and no personal connection!! Call for tests and test results and no one knows where they are!! Would not recommend this office.

Dr Swales is a smart doctor, but his attitude toward patients and his support staff makes getting decent treatment difficult. He is arrogant, does not explain things or answer reasonable questions. When he can't figure out the cause of something or your case is too simple for his ego, he passes you off to another doctor in the practice. His staff doesn't process pre-authorization for tests as required by most insurances, so you may get stuck paying out of pocket for expensive tests.

I was diagnosed with cirrhosis. I truly believe that he has kept me alive. He's VERY attentive to ANYTHING that I'm experiencing and VERY smart. I highly recommend him.
