David Louis Zimmerman's Online Review Report Card

My mother has left four messages with Dr. Zimmerman's office staff. I have left five messages with his staff, including the office manager. They were to refer her to Dr. Barry Donner. The berry diner will not return phone calls either. She has been throwing up for one month every day. Now we are forced to use the emergency room as her routine medical care to resolve this issue. I just want everyone to know how irresponsible Dr. Zimmerman and Dr. Donner's offices are. I will report them. This is horrible to treat an 86 year old woman that way. If Dr. Zimmerman or Dr. donor would like to call myself or my mother, her name is andree Carier and my name is Paul Horvat. They have our phone numbers.

Do not go to Dr. David Zimmerman if you are looking for an ADDICTION specialist. You will be wasting your time in a critical time of need. First, we are not sure why Dr. Zimmerman and his staff are in the business of medical addiction as the office stigmatizes patients who need medical help for addictions. There are other alternatives (tele-health that specialize in addiction) or finding another doctor. We were treated in a uncaring manner and given no medical advice. A medical condition like addiction needs a staff who will help the patients and not treat them like lepers. I would like to let people with addiction disorder know to go somewhere else for addiction treatment. Do not waste your time with Dr. Zimmerman medical office.

Very knowledgable. Not very often you get a Doctor that spends time getting to know you and talking with you before jumping into a diagnosis.

Very patient, kind and knowledgeable doctor who actually listens to you. He explains pros/cons of issues, treatment, etc. I've never felt rushed by him nor felt like he didn't address my questions and concerns. Small office which means no wait and efficient staff. I've gone to him for years even though I now live out of the area. It's worth the drive as there aren't many doctor's like him any longer.

This is my mother's doctor and at first I was so frustrated with their phone system and how I could never get through to the doctors Receptionist . But I finally spoke with Lori and she explained to me how their phone system worked & apologized for the confusion. My first review was mostly about their phone service and not the doctors service. My mother loves Dr. Zimmerman & I love Lori . Sometimes, you've got to give things a second chance before deciding if this is the right doctor for you.

I've updated my earlier review. I was so frustrated at the phone situation, I felt like if I didn't say something,, my head was going to explode.After taking my mom to her appointment, I spoke at length with office manager, Lori, Laurie ( spelling ? ) and she gave me step by step directions so that I'm not going around in circles on the phone. Dr. Zimmerman is awesome to his patients and I love how he treats my mother.

So Dr. Zimmerman is my mother's doctor and my mother, who is 83, loves him. The 1 star is because, no matter when I call to make an appointment for her, I never get a live person. The message prompts you to leave a message and to find your doctors extension type in the letters of his name. It always comes back NO RECORD FOUND! I am so frustrated right now.... I've spent more than an hour trying to reach someone at the office and I am only getting Laurie's voice message

Dr Z is great!A Doctor who really does care for his patients .A good man. The real thing.And Lori at the desk is just as wonderful.Very happy with them.Love them.

We have been patients of Dr. Zimmerman for over 10 years. We have found him every caring of our health issues. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of medicine. Lori, his assistant is always helpful in assisting us with our needs. We highly recommend him as a primary doctor.Rich and Carolyn Quinn
