I have been under the care of Dr. Thu Mar for the past 5 years. Highly recommend this doctor. He is polite, compassionate, and knows what he is doing. He answers your concerns. Dr. Thumar is one of the very best doctors I have ever worked with. I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered him when my father was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in 2018. During our first meeting, he spent well over an hour providing a comprehensive, balanced and clear assessment of the potential risks and benefits of various possible treatments. Discussing these with my dad, we chose to have him participate in a trial study through the Smilow Cancer Hospital at St. Francis where he would receive immunotherapy to treat his cancer. Dr. Thurmar was with us every step of the way, always ready to answer questions and was honest about the risks ahead. His depth and range of knowledge and experience, intelligence, dedication and compassion inspired complete confidence and trust. Although my dad lost the fight against the cancer, I will always be thankful for the support Dr. Thumar provided us during many difficult days. He is an extraordinary man and physician.

I see Dr. Thumar frequently as I am his patient.I find him very personable and always tries too answer my questions in a manner meaningful to me.If there is a concern, he will call to check on how I'm doing. I have confidence that he is providing the best of care available.

Dr Thumar has been treating a family member for 3yrs I dont always go to his appointments with him ,but Dr.Thumar always keeps me updated on his status. I have recommended him to ppl . He is very knowledgeable answers all my questions and is very compassionate. Top doc material in my book.
